"So, just what was that light show?" Ranma asked uncertainly.

"The last cosmic cap was recognizing it's proper owner." Cologne stated, her eyes glued to Max who had pulled himself to his feet, and was brushing the dirt off his clothes.

"Ah, yeah, same thing happened the last time I put this hat on. Oh, and you know how I've never remembered things before dropping out of the sky on you?" Max raised a finger and tapped his head. "Perfect recall."

"Hey, that's great!" Ranma replied with a grin. "But, um, why was the old ghoul calling you," He was cut off as Cologne smacked him in the head with her staff.

"Mighty one!" A feminine voice suddenly called. After looking around for a moment, Ranma and Max realized the call had come from above and tilted their heads back.

Floating down from the sky was a girl in a yellow outfit sitting on a broom. She looked around her, then at the three figures. "Hello, I'm looking for a," she paused and glanced at an envelope in her hand, "The Mighty One." She shrugged and added, "That's the name I was given anyway."

"Who are you?" Ranma asked in an uncertain voice.

"Ah, Nakatomi Nanaka, I'm interning with the Kiki Delivery Service." She paused to tap a round insignia of a girl on a broom on her poncho style cape. "The Japan branch has had this envelope since it's founding, with instructions to deliver it to a 'The Mighty One' who would be found at these exact coordinates," She held up a small GPS device, then looked at her watch, "Exactly now." She frowned and leaned forward, looking at Max. "Ah! And he was supposed to be wearing a red cap with a white M! So. . . ." She paused and looked at Max."

"I. . . Yes, I'm The Mighty One," Max replied uncertainly.

"Yes!" Nanaka responded excitedly. Then her cheeks flushed as she put a hand behind her head. "Ah, you see this envelope's been in the vaults for a long time, and there were some bets on whether or not there would actually BE a Mighty One here, and it looks like I won. Makes me wish I had put more down."

". . .So, that's mine? Um, was the person who gave it to you a chicken?" Max asked.

". . . Chicken? I really wouldn't know, they didn't mention it." Nanaka responded uncertainly. "But, you're right." She extended the large envelope to Max, "Here's your item." She then handed him a clipboard. "And if you could sign, please?

"Thank you!" Taking back the clipboard, Nanaka slipped it away, then griped her broom with a look of concentration. "izadi aba mehinamu- eto kafe nan." She floated up into the sky, pivoted, and accelerated away.

"Ok," Max responded as he examined the envelope. Turning it over he brushed the dust from its back, revealing a series of black symbols. "Hey, Egyptian Hieroglyphs. This is from Virgil all right." He paused to blow away more dust to see the rest.

"Um, you can read those Egyptian. . ."

"Yeah, started learning even before the whole Mighty One thing came up. Let's see. . . Ah, 'Greetings Mighty One, there is much for you to know, the important portal is in the Ice cream case at the Mini-Mart three blocks south, PS, watch out.'"
