These creatures knew few of the physical and dismally few of the metaphysical laws. Just enough to get them into trouble, as that female's actions just proved. How easy it was to fool her into accepting that parasite onto her spirit, and putting it off as a gift.
These...worms were were hardly developed at all. Few of them had internalized any power, virtually the entire planet was the same homogenous, mindless fool with only the most basic of wills. There were a few species here there advanced enough to take his notice, but even they were mostly afflicted by the rampant idiocy of the world. The fact that his plan of escape had required him to mix his royal blood into theirs was infuriating.
But all that was at an end now.
