Setsuna's Fault: Riding the Wild Horse? [Episode 111758]

The currently playing scene, with the Senshi facing a drawn Soulcutter, was NOT something she particularly fancied. None of the Senshi seemed to be doing particularly well, but then neither were their opponents.

Every attempt to cut Ranma out of the picture had ended up with horrible consequences.

Well, mostly horrible. Watching Uranus getting beaten up by a large fuzzy muppet... that had actually been sort of amusing. Just that someone with the name of "Sweetums" had beaten her was somehow amusing on some level.

Though the timeline viewed where Ranma had fallen into Spring Of Drowned Tigger and had been bouncing around and making spirited comments... no. best not even to think about such a thing.

So what she decided to do was just deal with it. Ranma's fate had tangled with the fates of the Senshi. Fine. Now how to adjust things so he was less a hindrance and more a help?

Ah, just the thing.

She'd just:

• alter things with a little ghostly appearance, prophesy, epic quest sort of thing shortly after Ranma's birth.
• make sure that Genma got a martial arts manual that actually had the good stuff.
• make an arrangement prior to that Genma made with Soun, and a few reminders of that arrangement.
• take Ranma away from Genma at one point of that training journey, then have him trained in useful skills.
• oops.
