"I will get through!" he yelled and started throwing chains at the flickering shapes. He ran at them, prepared to barrel through all the obstacles that would stand before him. Shapes and forms that were indistinctual to his eye flashed past him in a what would be a dizzying display if he stopped to look. But nothing would make him cease in his efforts to get through the whatever they were. Not the sounds, sights nor feelings that were passing through the area.
For Shampoo was somewhere beyond them and he could sense her siren's call even at that moment.
Then something slammed into his chest, knocking him to the ground and the wind out of him. A pair of yellow eyes glowed sinisterly into his. Lips were smacked and a broad smile revealed many pointed teeth. That was it then. He would be killed and never know the joy that just being with his beloved one more time. This girl-creature would be the last thing that he would see...
"Say, you're cute. Kinda remind me of my boyfriend from back when I was alive."
"Um..."
"My name is Xiao. What's yours?"
This was odd. He was not getting eaten, but complimented? "Uh... Mousse."
"That's a nice name. Do you wanna see the moon? I know a real good spot."
The nearly blind Amazon boy blinked slightly and realized that she was already dragging him off.
