...Unless it had something to do with Werecats. And since Bastet already knew that Britanny was pregnant with her first child in America, so it couldn’t be that. “Hello, Urd. Why did you ask me to come all the way out here?”
Smiling as she saw the Goddess of Cats from the Egyptian Pantheon, Urd waved a hand in greeting and started walking into the house. “Hey, Bastet... Glad you could make it," She said, avoiding the other goddess's question for now.
Bastet sighed and walked into the house after Urd. Seeing the platinum haired Norn of the Past settle down into a chair, Bastet sat at the table, across from the other Goddess. “You didn’t answer my question, Urd. Why did you call me out here?” Though, for some reason, Bastet could swear that Urd was practically giddy with excitement.
“Well...” Urd started as she relaxed into a chair in the living room of the house of the Fujishima Shrine. “Well Bastet, for the first time in awhile, I have people making offerings to me again...”
“Offerings to you?” Bastet said with a raised eyebrow. She then smirked. “I wonder if they would have done so if they had known it was you that they were giving offerings to.” After all, if that was the only reason that she had been called out here, Bastet might as well poke fun at the other Goddess.
Pouting a little, Urd’s frown soon turned into a sultry smirk. “Now, now, Bastet... If you make fun of me, I won’t give you the specifics on these two...”
Bastet raised an eyebrow. “Oh please, it isn’t as if one of them is a Werecat, right?” She asked rhetorically.
“As a matter of fact...” Urd smirked widely.
Bastet blinked a couple of times at the smirk. “No way!” Seeing Urd nod, her eyes widened. “Seriously?” The Goddess of Cats really felt like slapping herself on the forehead now.
“Seriously...” Urd said with a grin. “A human male and a... Brace yourself...” Urd teased. “A Siberian Weretigress.”
Urd blinked as Bastet fell out of her chair at that statement. The Egyptian Goddess of Cats, Pleasure, Men, Children, and Pregnant Women quickly got back onto her feet and stared incredulously at Urd. “No way!” Seeing Urd nod, Bastet smirked. “Well, this is a rare occasion. So... Care to fill me in on all the details?” She asked with an audible purr.
“Sure...” Urd said. “The two were walking by the shrine, the very rare breed of weretigress was horny as...” Urd caught herself for a moment. “...Well, the other place... And the two ended up screwing each other’s brains out a good portion of the night, giving me a much needed offering.” Leaning forward, Urd smirked at Bastet. “And then they did it this morning too before they left.”
“Seriously?” Bastet couldn't believe it. How many guys were lucky enough to get a female Werecat as a girlfriend, much less get one who would get so horny that she had to stop and spread her legs. “What? Are they trying to make kittens?” She asked, smirking lightly.
Urd smirked. “They certainly mentioned it...” Her smirk widened quite a bit. “After all, as sis pointed out to me, the white weretigress was wearing a engagement ring...”
Bastet’s eyes widened at that. “Really?” She said, dragging out the word. The Goddess then smirked. “WAI! WAI! Cute little Siberian Weretiger babies!!” She said, extremely giddy.
“Excuse me...” Urd said at length, trying to catch the Cat Goddess’s attention. “It’s not that simple...”
“What do you mean?” Bastet asked Urd. Even if the guy was human, the more they had sex, the better his and that Weretigress’s chances were for having children.
Urd smirked. “He’s still only human... And we know the chances of cross-breeding between them are a million-to-one, right?” Father knew it had almost taken Britanny and Stryyp over a million sessions of wild fucking just to get a baby of their very own.
Bastet sighed and nodded. “Yes. Unfortunately...” Though, there was something tingling at the back of her mind. “So, what do you want me to do about it?” After all, directly interfering with mortal affairs was a big no-no. Except when it came to wishes of course.
“Well,” Urd started. “We know that you haven’t been able to do anything to help Britanny, since that would set precedence and open up the floodgate for Set to help the wererat clan, right?”
Bastet nodded. “Yeah.” Stupid paranoid old Wererat lady. Bast’s Werecheetahs weren’t going to get rid of that race, no matter how much some people thought otherwise.
“What of it?” Bastet asked Urd, though, she was starting to get an idea.
“However...” Urd started, holding a finger up, “There’s nothing with Set concerning the very rare, and bordering on extinction Siberian Weretiger race, now is there?”
Bastet blinked, then grinned. “True. Very true.” Hell, all the Werecat races had low birth rates to them. “So what you're saying is... We, or rather I, help those two pump out a few kittens, correct?”
Smiling, Urd said, “Correct. I mean, this is beneficial to both of us...” She said. “Since one partner is a pure Siberian Weretigress with a partner that won’t have any genetics to overwrite the werecat species type, you get some new werecats...”
Bastet nodded. “Hmm... True.” She then looked at Urd seriously at the platinum haired half Goddess. “What will you get out of this, though?” Usually a Goddess didn’t ask others for anything, unless they could get something out of it too.
To the Cat Goddess inquiry, Urd’s smile widened further. “And if you somehow convince them that doing it here more often than not is a good thing, I get more offerings!” She crowed. “It’s a win-win situation for both of us!”
Bastet raised an eyebrow at that prospect. “Do you think that they’ll stop here every-time that she wants to get laid?” Bastet asked bluntly. To be sure, she’d ease that little pesky crossbreeding rule of thumb and make it easier to have new kittens soon.
Urd smiled. “Oh, not every time...” Urd said. “But give them the notion that, if they want kittens ASAP, the perhaps good karma and surroundings are key... Like they may need a small ritual in a holy place...” Urd said. “So while I’m sure they’ll have sex often, they are bound to come here a few times to try for kittens...”
Bastet ‘hmm’ed. “Could be interesting,” She then chuckled. “And you’re right. We both will win this time.” Hey, she’d do anything to help out those poor Werecat races out. Too bad Set would jump in and get the Wererats to wipe out her Werecheetahs if she helped Britanny out.
“And besides...” Urd said as an after-thought. “This Siberian Weretigress is friends with a friend of the Diggers...”
Bastet blinked. “Seriously? Hmm... Maybe I should pay more attention to this portion of the world at times.”
“Yes...” Urd agreed. “And, if a certain happy couple hears about another couple who keeps having kids, despite the crossbreeding problem...” Urd smirked. “Then perhaps that certain couple will come here to have more werecheetah cubs.... And there’ll be more werecheetahs without the help of Bastet, technically...”
Bastet smirked. “Yes.” She purred. That was one way around Set and the problems that he'd cause Britanny. “I like it! We should get to work now, no?”
Urd smirked. “Lets.”
“-And Urd’s-”
“Operation: Kitty Love!”
“Of course not. This is just Something Else Urd is planning”
“That’s what I was worried about...”
