Ranma smiled and wrapped his left arm around her body. “Feel better?” He asked, looking at her happy face. He had to admit, she didn't seem so bad off as she did last night.
“Much better...” Alex said with a purr. Her smile becoming a bit more subdued, the Siberian Weretigress shyly said, “I still don’t understand why you put all Yen and the check you got last night into MY bank account though...” After all, before going back to the hangar, Ranma insisted they stop at the bank.
Ranma smirked. “Simple reason actually.” If his father, Nabiki, or any other greedy person that he had known in his life knew about him having a bank account... Highway robbery wouldn’t describe what would happen. “Let’s just say that I don’t want anyone going after our money,” He said, smiling at her.
Blushing a little at her fiancé’s roguish grin, Alex’s tail swayed back and forth happily. “Okay, Ranma...”
Ranma smiled and kissed his fiancée’s fuzzy cheek briefly. “Heh, you’re so sexy.” Damn, he just couldn’t get enough of that sexy, sensual white-furred weretigress.
The Siberian Weretigress purred very audibly. “I think you’re sexy too... Very sexy...” She leaned forward and licked her fiancé’s cheek.
Ranma shivered as Alex’s rough, feline tongue ran over his cheek. “Naughty kitty,” He smirked at her. He would have continued the conversation, but noticed that they had gotten back to the hanger after very little time of making it to the airport. “We made it back, Alex,” He said, grinning. He couldn’t wait to have some fun inside.
Alex nodded her head energetically. “Right, now I’ll just...” Alex’s hand went to the door handle and opened the door easily. She blinked her eyes once, twice, “I did lock this, didn’t I?”
Ranma blinked. “I think so,” He didn’t think there were problems with robbers in this area. After all, he was the only person who ever showed up for lessons with Alex before. “Well, if someone thinks to rob you, they’ll be very, very sorry.” He said, slightly annoyed. And here he had been getting mentally ready for some fun.
Alex’s thoughts were on the same wavelength as Ranma’s. Opening the door slowly, Alex took hold of an umbrella from the stand by the door inside for a makeshift club.
Ranma narrowed his eyes as he looked into the room. He then blinked as he saw two people sitting at the table, seemingly waiting for someone. “Friends of yours?” He whispered, just loud enough for Alex to hear.
Alex turned her head and looked further towards the back. Just outside her bedroom she kept a table so she could eat and do paperwork at. Her eyes widened when she recognized the male of the group. Dropping the umbrella, she ran towards the two. “ACE!”
Sitting up straight for a moment in surprise, Ace turned to see who it was...
...Only to find himself being caught in a powerful hug by a werecat. “Ace!” Alex cried out happily. “It’s SO good to see you again!”
Penny turned. Who was that Werecat” “Kevin... Who is this?” She asked, in a tight voice.
“H-how should I know?” Ace managed to croak out.
Ranma blinked his eyes in surprise. “What the?” He asked himself. Alex didn’t act like that around him.
Purring, Alex still hugged Ace, actually twirling about the floor where junk was cluttering. “Oh, this is great! I never thought you’d come here, Ace! How’ve you been, Fly-boy?”
Ace would’ve answered, but his face was starting to pale from lack of oxygen.
“Um, honey, I think he needs to breathe,” Ranma started out. Though, he had to admit. If those two were robbers, Alex sure had an effective way to kill them.
“Hey! Let Kevin go! You’re killing him!” Penny exclaimed, trying to get the Weretigress’s attention. No way she’d try and fight a Werecat. Not after seeing what Britanny was capable of. And if all Werecats had similar abilities, she’d be dead before she knew what happened.
Blinking her eyes once, twice, Alex turned to look at the nubian woman. “You’re Penny, right?” She asked before the woman’s words registered in the white weretigress’s head. “OH!” She then practically dropped Kevin onto the floor like a sack of bricks. “ACE! I’m so, SO sorry!”
Ace gasped for breath as he lay crumpled on the floor like a rag-doll. “Damn chica... COUGH! You trying to kill me?”
Ranma walked up to Alex and poked her in the shoulder. “Alex...” He began.
“Yeah?” Alex tentatively answered.
“You have a really good method of dealing with intruders,” Ranma said, smirking at her.
Her face becoming downcast at Ranma’s words, Alex’s ears flattened back against her skull in shame. She then looked at her friend who was being helped by his girlfriend and told him, “Please forgive me, Ace. I was just so excited to see you. I called you yesterday, and... Well, I didn’t expect to see you so soon.”
It was then the voice started to become recognizable to Ace. And the things she spoke of... Turning to look at Alex, Ace asked, “Alex?”
Penny blinked. She might have not known who this woman was at first, but she figured it out from their conversations. “What? You’re Alex?” She asked, surprised. She then turned to Ace. “Why didn’t you tell me she was a Werecat, Kevin?”
“I didn’t know!” Ace stated as he held up his hands defensively to ward off his girlfriend’s gaze of doom. “Honestly!”
Ranma blinked. “You never told them?” He asked his fiancée.
Shaking her head, Alex blushed a little. “Last time I saw Ace was before I changed into...” She motioned to herself, “This.”
Penny glared at the pilot for a little longer. After hearing the Weretigress’s explanation, she nodded. “Oh.” Well, there wasn’t much she could say to that.
Ranma nodded. “I guess that makes some sense,” He said. He waved to Ace and Penny. “Hello, I’m Saotome Ranma, Alex's fiancé. What’s your names?”
“Kevin Koss,” Ace said as he started to stand up. “Thought, everyone calls me ‘Ace’.”
Penny looked the guy over. Well, he was pretty good looking, if she did say so herself. “Penny Pincer, Kevin’s girlfriend,” She added, smirking.
Nodding her head to that, Alex said, “And, as you probably know by now, that I’m Cassandra Alexandra Tora...” Her tail wrapped possessively around Ranma’s waist. “But please, call me Alex, Ranma’s fiancée!”
Ranma smiled at the gesture from Alex.
Ace froze at those words and slowly turned his head to look at Penny. Alex just HAD to say that, didn’t she?
Penny took on a contemplative look. “So, who asked who again?” She asked, trying to get some clarification.
Ace’s skin began to pale once more, although this time it was not due to shortness of breath. Slowly, he began inching away from Penny.
Smiling brightly, Alex’s purring became quite audible. “Ranma asked me!” She then held up her hand to show off her engagement ring. “And he had this precious little thing to give me too!”
Ranma blinked. What was up with the other guy? “You okay?” He asked. Alex’s friend looked like he was sick or something.
Penny looked at Alex’s ring with an appraising eye. “OOOH! So pretty. Now if only a certain someone would do the same thing for me,” She said, giving a not-so-subtle hint to a certain single male in the room.
“Eh heh heh...” Ace chuckled as she started making his way for the door. “Yes, it is very nice, and would make a delightful gift...” His nervous chuckling increased. “Well, Alex, it was great to see you, perhaps I’ll see you later...” He then mentally added, “When Penny isn’t around.”
Ranma, Alex, and Penny could only watch as Ace then tripped on the umbrella on the floor, before getting back up and running out the door. The trio then did a collective sweat-drop.
His eyebrow raised, Ranma turned to Penny curiously. “What’s with him?” It didn’t make any sense to him. Memories of how he used to act around his fiancées were ruthlessly suppressed, beaten, tied up and blown to shreds.
Shaking her head, Alex bluntly asked Penny, “He’s still got that fear of commitment, huh?”
Penny sighed and nodded. “Yeah. I don’t know why. I mean, we’re practically married in all but name anyway.” It didn’t make any sense to her.
Ranma shrugged. “Maybe he’s afraid that getting tied down will disrupt his dreams to do what he wants.” He suggested.
Alex pouted a little. “I’ll have to talk to him about that.” After all, she felt she pretty much knew Ace’s goals and aspirations. Maybe she could talk some sense into the lug.
Penny blinked. Ace was worried she’d stop him from attaining his goals? “Well, this is interesting,” She muttered. She never would have thought that he was afraid of commitment because of that.
Seeing the other woman start to become down, Alex pat her shoulder gently. “Relax. We’ll straighten this out. Don’t worry.”
Penny nodded. “Yeah.” She then shook her head. “I guess I have some thinking to do.” She said, slightly depressed.
Alex continued to rub Penny’s shoulder. DAMN! Was this ever killing the mood.
Ranma sighed. “Hey, I’ll go out and look for your friend, okay, Alex?” He said, before heading out the door. Maybe all that guy needed was a bonk on the head?
Smiling, Alex told Ranma, “Thanks honey. I’d appreciate it.”
Ranma nodded back to Alex, before leaving the building.
“-And Urd’s-”
“Operation: Kitty Love!”
“Of course not. This is just Something Else Urd is planning”
“That’s what I was worried about...”
