"So what do you think?"
"That one I think," said Minako.
"Ooooh, I love 'Dagger Of Kamui'!" enthused Tajra.
"I think I shall practice my kata," said Tarja.
"She's not too happy with the film because there's no samurai in it," confided Tajra.
"Ah," said Minako.
Artemis blinked. A samurai-otaku and a ninja-otaku? What was going on here?!
The pixie settled on a branch to watch. "So the mage has an apprentice?"
"Drat the luck, it's a girl." The dryad frowned. "If only it was a boy."
"Young girls can be fun too," suggested the pixie with a wink. "You're just too picky."
"If she's an apprentice mage, she might be like the dark elves and hard to seduce," said a stream of water before it reshaped part of itself into a naiad.
"Well, maybe she'll have friends who aren't off-limits," suggested the pixie.
"An interesting thought," said the naiad as she re-merged with the stream.
"AH-CHOOOO!"
"You're not getting a cold, are you, Haruka-san?"
"No of course not. We'll find out the truth about this evil sorcerer rumored to be in the area and then see how he handles a 'World Shaking'!"
Yume Kikuchi prepared her things, wondering at this new chance she'd been given. Considering her grades, she had been surprised to find out she was going to go to a special school in Tokyo. From a tiny mountain village to the big city. Things were definitely looking up.
She also had been given her learner's permit as a mage. Now if she could just find someone to apprentice under.
Angela Brooks looked down at her ring, which contained the ID chip and magical circuits that were her learner's permit. As an English mage in Japan, she expected this would give her a few more obstacles to overcome, yet the divinations had been verified.
She just hoped she could adapt to the dietary changes. She expected that she would have difficulties eating anything that was actually looking at her, and her one experience with sashimi had been rather... unhappy.
"Well, I've only recently discovered that I'm a warrior of love and justice - Sailor V! I fought evil briefly in England before returning here to Japan. Artemis tells me there are other Senshi but I haven't met any yet," said Minako, taking another sip of fruit juice. "This is quite tasty. What is it again?"
"The bottle says Everclear, I think," said Tajra. "I thought it would be like Evermead but it isn't, so I added fruit juice to make it more palatible."
"Evermead is something from your homeland?" asked Minako.
"Yeah, elven wine, but I've only tried it the once. Gave me a headache." Tajra politely refilled the glass of her guest. "Is this how a 'slumber party' actually goes?"
"I think sho," said Minako.
