"Holy shit dude!" The first orderly said as he held up the syringe. "Hit the alarm! We've got a break-in!"
"Right!" The second one said as he started to make back towards the door.
Kodachi's eyes narrowed as she slowly stood up, leaving her Ranma-sama's warm embrace.
Ranma's features darkened considerably while he stood up as well. "Mara?"
Mara wrapped her arms behind her head. "What? What do you want me to do?"
"We still have that restriction about not harming without an invitation, right?" Ranma knew the answer to that one, but needed confirmation. He was feeling very bloodthirsty right now, after seeing just how Kodachi was treated here.
Mara nodded her head.
The orderly held the syringe and started walking closer, cautious in his movements. First he needed to submit the patient. Thankfully the tranquilizers shouldn't make that too difficult.
"And I say by the way he's gonna attack your girlfriend, that's more than enough invitation," Mara said warningly.
Upon hearing this Ranma smirked and leaned back against a wall. "Nah. She can take care of herself."
Seeing that the woman wasn't making much of a move, the man held the syringe up towards chest-level, and began to rush towards Kodachi, intent on stabbing her in the breast with her 'medication.'
Kodachi waited for the man to be two steps away before springing into action. Even if she'd been here for longer than she wanted to remember, drugged and rendered helpless, she still retained some of her skills. The Black Rose wasn't a martial artist in the sense that she didn't rely on kicks and punches, but rather tools. Hence her need of obtaining one. The black-haired woman evaded the thrust from the syringe and caught it easily. Then, with a twist of her wrist, took it from the man's grip. In the process she broke his arm of course.
The man screamed and gripped onto his arm, as it was bending the opposite direction.
Whistling in appreciation, Mara mumbled, "Nice..."
It was then that Kodachi thrust the syringe into the man, killing him instantly. Usually it would take minutes for such a mixture of drugs to kill a human being, but having a syringe pierce one's skull had something to do with it. The Black Rose released her weapon and allowed for the corpse to fall down, uncaring of the fact bashing someone's forehead inwards should be impossible with a simple needle.
Ranma grinned. It seemed like Kodachi had lost some of her skill, but not all of it.
Looking at the mess Kodachi made, Mara chuckled in amusement. "Heh. Such darkness to one's heart and hands. Most impressive."
Kodachi snorted in distaste at her handiwork. "I've lost a lot of skill."
"Well, we'll just have to build it back up then," Mara said as she toed the bleeding form.
Ranma leaned down and retrieved the murder weapon. He cleaned it of the excess blood on the corpse's clothes and offered it to Kodachi with a darn smirk. "You know how it goes, Dachi-chan. Practice makes perfect."
Kodachi took the offered syringe as a woman in love would take her beloved's roses and sprinted out of the room happily.
It was then that red lights and sirens started going off, the noise rather loud.
Mara smirked. "She might be running into a trap, you know. It sounds like the security here will be in force soon."
Ranma chuckled. "Do you really think there's something they can do to stop her?"
"She's still mortal," Mara said. "And other mortals tend to be heavily armed when possible."
"This is an asylum, tomboy," Ranma said dismissively. "What could they possibly have here?"
"Tranquilizer guns," Mara said as if she knew from personal experience.
The pigtailed demon shrugged. "Unless they have something that can knock down an elephant that shouldn't be a problem. IF they manage to hit her."
The air was soon filled with the sounds of rather loud male screams, followed by laughter.
"OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!"
Ranma grinned happily. "And here I was worried Dachi-chan wouldn't accept me being a demon." If anything the Black Rose seemed turned on by the concept. The sheer lust in her eyes before being so rudely interrupted told Ranma all he needed to know.
"Yeah, almost as good as a succubus."
"Want to go see the show? We can't join her, but that doesn't mean we can't go watch," Ranma said and kicked off the wall. He almost paused to consider when he became such an uncaring and bloodthirsty individual. Almost.
"Sure," Mara said. "You're the one 'paying' for it." She gave him a knowing wink.
The pigtailed demon smirked and left the room.
---
"Sasuke!" Kuno shouted as he gave his shinobi servitor a quick kick to the ribs. "This is no place to be napping! Thou should be cleaning these very floors you desecrate with your drool!"
The small ninja groaned as consciousness came rather painfully, not a rare occurrence because of his master, and started to open his eyes.
"Sasuke!" Kuno shouted as he saw his gentleman's gentleman start to awaken. "What is the very meaning of this!?"
"M-m-master Kuno!" Sasuke snapped awake and stood up as fast as his body allowed him to.
Nodding his head to his servant's antics, Kuno glared at the smaller ninja. "Why were you sleeping on the job? Clean this floor! Stand guard! Do my laundry! Make sure my pigtailed girl photos are in alphabetical order..." The True Blunder ranted, as he liked to hear himself talk.
Sasuke nodded in time with each and every one of Kuno's demands, knowing better than to even think of questioning them, as he wondered just why he was sleeping on the floor. It wasn't like he didn't have a bed and... "Oh no!"
Hearing that statement caused Kuno to stop in his tracks. "What do you mean 'no'? You dare to deny an order form your master!?"
Sasuke waved his hands defensively. "Not at all, Master Kuno! It's just that..." He paused to swallow nervously. "Ran... I mean... The foul sorcerer was here last night."
"What!?" Kuno shouted angrily. He then held his bokken high. "I just knew that something was amiss! My usual dreams of the pigtailed girl and Akane Tendo worshipping me as they should were interrupted for the first time in years. The foul wizard's very image must surely be clouding my mind!" Kuno dropped to his knees, and tugged on a cloth napkin he held onto with his teeth. "Oh, the shame of it! The evil magus coming back to take my lady loves!"
"Master Kuno!" Sasuke shouted even at the risk of interrupting Kuno's theatrics and calling on himself his wrath.
Indeed, upon having Sasuke shout, the background guitar music that started sounding out of nowhere came to a screeching halt, and the lights all went back on. "What is it, Sasuke?" Kuno said, standing up, and collecting himself, not noticing a few pink flower petals on his shoulders.
The ninja swallowed hard and spoke in a VERY nervous voice. "The foul sorcerer asked about mistress Kodachi's whereabouts."
Kuno's visage darkened, a snarl starting to curl at the right corner of his lips. "You... WHAT!?"
"I... I..." Sasuke stammered, knowing he was doomed.
Kuno raised his bokken high, preparing to strike down the traitorous servant to the house of Kuno...
...But came to a halt as he heard a familiar bout of laughter.
"No! It couldn't be!" Kuno thought fearfully.
"OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!"
"Could... Could it be...?” Kuno mumbled as he slowly turned around. "My twisted sister?"
There, standing in a regal black kimono and amidst a shower of black rose petals, stood Kuno Kodachi. "Hello, brother dear."
"So, you have returned..." Kuno looked Kodachi over... And actually smiled. "At last! By the lack of your insistent babbling, the foul magus's magic hold over you must be lifted! You are not speaking of his praises or weeping over his defeat!"
"Sasuke, leave us. Now." Kodachi commanded.
The little ninja bowed and started to make himself scarce, thankful for the save.
"Sasuke, stay!" Kuno counter-commanded, just as the little rat-faced shinobi was almost around the corner.
Kodachi frowned. "Sasuke, get out of here."
"Sasuke, say where you are!" Kuno said seriously.
The ninja was too confused to move, until Kodachi gave him a look that chilled him to the bone. She was smiling sweetly at him. "Stay and die."
That did it for the ninja. Faster than Kuno could protest he was gone.
"SASUKE!!!" Kuno shouted at the shinobi-servitor's retreating form. But it was no use. The buck-toothed ninja was already packed and heading towards Juuban.
"Let him be, brother dear. I have important matters to discuss with you," Kodachi said as she stepped even closer.
Kuno turned back to his sister seriously, his grip over his bokken's handle tightened. "If this is about your child, it's no use..." Tatewaki said ominously. "...Mr. Green-turtle has been sent back to the Florida Everglades."
Kodachi glared murderously at her brother. "Midorigame will return to me, Tatewaki."
Kuno snorted, "Please, sister, stop being so delusional. The beast will be much happier as just another gator in a swamp." And then under his breath, Tatewaki muttered, "Or as someone's pair of shoes and matching belt."
Kodachi heard that remark but decided to ignore it... for the moment. "Tatewaki, it has come to my attention that my Ranma-sama is alive."
Kuno played it cool at hearing that... Meaning he went right to ranting. "Preposterous! The foul magus is dead and rotting in the burning hells like all demons such as he!"
Kodachi smiled in amusement. "But that is where you are wrong, brother dearest. My Ranma-sama has returned from the pits of Hell itself. He has returned to me."
Not liking where this was going, Kuno decided to pull his trump card. There was no way the foul magus would dare to face one as mighty as he. "Then prove it to be no more than a delusional fever-dream of yours! Let the coward face me right here, right now, man-to-beast!"
The Black Rose laughed again and extended her hand towards the Blue Thunder. Out of nowhere came the infamous ribbon, laying waste to Kuno's bokken before he could adjust his grip on it.
"W-what foul sorcery is this!?" Tatewaki stuttered in utter shock, caught completely off-guard by his sister's sudden move.
The Black Rose smirked sinisterly and wrapped her ribbon around her brother's body tightly as she'd done many times before, only that this time its razor edges drew blood. "I asked my Ranma-sama to allow me the pleasure of dealing with you, Tatewaki."
Tatewaki grit his teeth as the ribbon tightened about him, much like an anaconda would, only it cut deep like a rose thorn. "F-foul witch!"
Kodachi cluck her tongue in distaste at the insult and walked closer to her brother, but careful to keep her grip on his body strong. There was no telling what Kuno might've learned in the time she was a prisoner in that damned asylum. "Really, brother. Would you call your little sister names like that?"
"You have... Given up being my sister... By allowing yourself to stoop as low as to use magics from the fiendish wizard..." Tatewaki chocked out, barely having enough oxygen to stay conscious.
Kodachi's features darkened. "Regardless of your delusions you are still by brother, Tatewaki. As such I find myself reluctant to give you the end you deserve." The Black Rose then leaned close to her brother and whispered in his ear, her voice colder than he'd ever heard it before. "I wouldn't do it at all if you hadn't betrayed me like you did. You are going to die today, Kuno Tatewaki."
Kuno grit his teeth, upon feeling the ribbon tighten. He then let out a scream as he could feel and hear as bones began to crack under pressure.
Kodachi eased up on the pressure a little, just enough for her brother to be able to breathe again. "Your death, however, will be short and painless or long and torturous depending on how you answer my question."
Glaring at his sister, Kuno spat, "Join the foul wizard in hell..."
Kodachi smiled. "I will, brother dearest. With great pleasure. But not before you answer my question. How do you want to die?" To emphasize her point she tightened the ribbon holding Tatewaki down enough to cut deeply into his body.
Rearing his head back, the only answer Kuno could give Kodachi was a gush of blood literally erupting from his mouth for a moment.
Kodachi eased on the tension again. "Well? Are you going to answer my question for me?" She smiled sweetly again. "You know I can make this last for hours. Days even."
Blood still seeping from either corner of his mouth, Kuno growled out, "Black-hearted bitch..."
"Flattery will get you nowhere," Kodachi teasingly said. "Now keep it simple. Yes or no. It can all end so fast for you..."
Kuno growled more, his stubbornness and stupidity not one to make him give in. "I... Fight on..." He gurgled out in a gush of blood as he tried to free himself from his bonds.
Kodachi frowned at her brother's stubbornness, until an idea popped into her pretty head. She leaned forward again, whispering in Kuno's ear for effect more than anything else. "Brother dear, do you wish to die a eunuch?" She would attack her brother's greatest pride, though why he considered it such was beyond her.
His eyes widening, Kuno shook his head back and forth rapidly, not caring about the blood that was lost faster.
Kodachi smiled at the sensation of her brother's blood trailing down her cheek. "Then answer my question and die a man or keep on fighting and..." She trailed off, allowing for Kuno to make the connection.
"What do you want to know...?” Kuno asked as blood started to rush out of his mouth faster; he obviously had some heavy intestinal bleeding.
"Where is my baby?" Kodachi asked softly.
"I told you..." Kuno coughed. "In the magical place known as 'Walt Disney World.'"
Kodachi didn't end Kuno's life at that moment. Instead she looked deep into his eyes. "You know what I'm asking, brother. Where is my daughter?"
