Of course, that didn't change the fact that even though a party had occurred, it wasn't quite as... well... simple as that.
Still, she was managing to relax some and getting over her initial shock. It wasn't going to be any less important to deal with, but her sense of humor was making its appearance. And now she could see the amusing things about the whole situation.
"My big brother..," she murmured to herself, "... the big stud. Heh."
She dropped her borrowed manga onto the table and smiled helplessly. This was not just a serious situation, but a prime chance to start teasing with great abandon. It meant that she would have a chance to both make certain that things were properly dealt with, and the individuals involved would be given a good ribbing at the same time.
But she knew that first and foremost she would need to be serious about this. Drawing herself up, she tried to control her need to crack a joke and put on an air of complete and utter dignity. It was clear that it was important that she stick with things being quiet and calm so that everything would be handled as it should be.
"Keiichi, you know that this is going to be serious," she practiced telling her brother, "Just telling our parents is going to take some doing if we even manage to get that far. Though just how all of these girls didn't say a thing, I don't know. At least one of them should have pulled back and realised that they should do something else. I don't know, maybe they just wanted to do one person..."
Slapping a hand over her eyes, she giggled at her slip of the tounge and hoped that she would be able to control herself once it came up. She knew that it was unlikely that she wouldn't try to get even on dig in, but there was always the hope that she could manage it.
However, the sound of movement caught her ears and she twisted about to find the source of the movement. It took her a moment more because she had been surprised that it'd happened than anything else. Once she was able to get over her initial shock, she managed to determine the direction of the noises, and when she looked, she saw that it was:
