Ranma-chan kept her pace as she walked along the fence as Kasumi walked along the ground. "You sure you don't want to try walking up here? It's great for balance."
Kasumi smiled up at Ranma. "Maybe next time, when I'm not wearing a skirt."
Blinking her eyes once, twice, Ranma-chan said, "Oh, right. Sorry."
Kasumi shrugged it off and then mock-glared at Ranma. "Now what was that about me beating the Boss Team?"
Scratching the back of her head, Ranma-chan chuckled. "Well you DID beat them," She said with a grin. "I just didn't tell them it was a videogame."
The black-haired girl rolled her eyes. "That was just mean, Ranma. And dangerous. Not even as a joke should you say such things." Truth be told she didn't think the rumor would reach any of the Boss Team members' ears, but the small probability that it would had her really scared.
Ranma-chan raised an eyebrow. "Sorry. I didn't know it was that important." The redhead jumped down from the fence and landed beside Kasumi. "I was just trying to get back at you for all the teasing you did to me is all."
Kasumi hid a blush remarkably well as she asked, "What teasing?"
To answer Kasumi, Ranma-chan flipped her pigtail over her shoulder. "Like when you kept pulling on this."
Kasumi blinked. "Now that you mention it." She reached forward and tugged at Ranma-chan's pigtail again.
"ACK!" Ranma-chan shrieked and jumped, causing Kasumi to tug a little harder on her pigtail.
"Sorry," Kasumi apologized sincerely since she didn't attempt to pull on it so hard.
Ranma-chan rubbed the base of her pigtail. She wanted to be mad, but the apologetic look on Kasumi's face melted the redhead's resolve. "Okay, okay... Just don't do it again, okay?"
Kasumi nodded. "I won't. I promise."
Smiling a little, Ranma-chan said, "Thanks. And I promise I won't tell anymore people you beat the Boss Team single-handedly." Ranma-chan said with a wink.
Kasumi beamed. "You have yourself a deal." She smiled mischievously. "Girlfriend." With that she patted Ranma-chan's butt and rushed off.
Glaring at the retreating form of Kasumi, Ranma-chan shouted, "COME BACK HERE!" And took off after the raven-haired girl.
Kasumi giggled as she continued to run. She did promise she wouldn't tug at Ranma's pigtail.
However, as she looked back to make sure Ranma-chan wasn't catching up, Kasumi didn't notice someone in front of her, and the raven-haired girl ran into a larger form, causing both to stumble to the ground.
Mousse fell back with a start, falling with a loud clatter as various items came out of his sleeves.
Kasumi's eyes widened and she flipped in the fall, managing to roll on the floor and land in a crouch.
Ranma-chan caught up with Kasumi, placing her hand on the shorter girl's shoulder. "You all right?"
Mousse was sitting up, trying to look at what hit him, his lenses rather cracked beyond repair. "Oh no... They're broken!"
Kasumi's eyes fell on the lenses and she felt her shoulder slump. "... I'm sorry."
Ranma-chan shrugged. "Ah, come on Mousse. Look at it this way. It's not like they helped you anyway."
Kasumi blinked in surprise. "You know him?"
Gritting his teeth, Mousse took off his broken glasses, revealing a rather bishonen face, with long black hair and mysterious almond eyes that would have made women swoon. "Of course! Ranma is my enemy! He's trying to steal my Shampoo!"
Ranma-chan rolled her eyes. "Mousse, I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. I don't want Shampoo!"
The black-haired girl blinked in confusion. "... Can't you just buy some more?"
"What?" Mousse asked. "Glasses?"
"No. I mean shampoo," Kasumi corrected.
"What!?" Mousse asked in shock. "You can't just BUY Shampoo!"
Kasumi blinked again and turned to Ranma. "Is Nerima really that weird or am I missing something?"
Ranma-chan shrugged. "Yes. And not your fault."
Getting to his feet, Mousse steadied a broadsword from seemingly out of nowhere. "Is she trying to call MY Shampoo a prostitute!?" Mousse demanded. One had to wonder how he held a broad sword twice the size of him one-handed like that.
Kasumi's eyes narrowed. "Watch where you're pointing that thing!" As surprised as she was at the appearance of the weapon she didn't miss the fact Mousse was pointing it at HER.
Raising her hands defensively, Ranma-chan pushed the weapon aside slightly and said, "Woah! Take it easy! Kasumi thought you were talking about hair products, not a person"
"Kasumi!?" Mousse asked as he leaned forward to try and get a better look at the girl. "Oh! I'm so sorry Tendo-san!" He apologized as he started bowing, the broadsword having disappeared to somewhere.
The black-haired girl looked even more confused. "Umm... I'm not Tendo-san."
"What's that?" Mousse asked, now a large katana appearing in his hand.
Ranma-chan quickly placed his hand over Kasumi's mouth. "She said we have to go see Tofu-san!" She said quickly. "We're going to go return one of his medical books."
"Oh," Mousse said as the katana seemingly vanished. "Well, guess I'll be off then..."
Turning a direction, Mousse started walking. He still had deliveries to complete.
Taking her hand down from Kasumi's mouth, Ranma-chan told her, "You got lucky that time."
Kasumi looked at Ranma strangely. "What was that all about?"
"He's a Chinese Amazon," Ranma-chan explained. "Warrior culture. He's pretty decent, but he's got a short fuse that's easily set off." The redhead looked at Kasumi seriously. "He's VERY dangerous."
Then to prove Ranma wrong, Mousse walked straight into a telephone pole. "Oh, pardon me ma'am," Mousse apologized as he stepped back from the pole.
Kasumi looked at Ranma skeptically. "Riiight," She drawled out.
Lowering her head, Ranma-chan sighed. "Look, just be thankful he's not wearing glasses. When he's got them on, he's a pretty decent fighter," The pigtailed redhead admitted, and only doing so because Mousse was out of ear-shot.
The black-haired girl blinked once again. "Okay... This place is definitely weird."
Shrugging her shoulders, Ranma-chan admitted, "Yeah. But you get used to it after awhile."
Smirking, Ranma-chan looked at Kasumi mischievously. "By the way..."
Ranma-chan poked Kasumi the in shoulder.
"TAG!" You're it!
The redhead then turned into a sprint and began running.
Kasumi was left standing there for a moment as she processed what just happened. A few seconds later she giggled. "Hey! Get back here!" She yelled as she gave chase.
Ranma-chan stuck her tongue back out at Kasumi. "Gotta catch me first!" The redhead said as she jumped up on a fence and continued running.
Kasumi kept up as best as she could while running on the side-walk. She promised herself to wear pants from now on, if only to catch Ranma up there.
Ranma-chan laughed happily as she did some stunts, jumping good distances to fly across the street and run along the fence on the other side.
The couple of girls ran away from sight, both of them laughing all the way.
