Ranma just blinked a few times as the person on the other end of the line answered his unasked question. "Okay," Ranma mumbled, still wondering just how the person on the other end of the line did that. "Uh, just who is this exactly?"
"I Am The One Called I Am." When Ranma didn't respond for over a minute Kami-sama just decided to cut the usual theatrics and get on with it.
"Um, I think this phone went dead," Ranma told Belldandy right before Kami-sama could talk again.
"Uh, I don't see how," Belldandy replied. "The battery is supposed to last till the end of time."
"NO THE PHONE'S NOT DEAD NOW PUT IT BACK TO YOUR EAR," Kami-sama shouted from the receiver.
Ranma just let out a sigh and put the phone back up to his ear. "Well yeah, but you just started repeating the same thing then stopped. So, who are you?"
Kami-sama just groaned in annoyance. Next time he was going to contact someone, he was going back to the whole heavenly light from above with the burning bush and all that stuff, it just made this whole contacting thing SO much easier. "I'm God You Nitwit!"
"Really?" Ranma asked skeptically.
"Yes."
Okay," Ranma said before putting his hand behind his back so Belldandy couldn't see and holding three fingers out.
"OH NO YOU DON'T! I SAW THAT MOVIE SO WE'RE NOT GOING THROUGH THAT CRAP," Kami-sama shouted.
"Well it just seems a little strange to me that you of all people need people like me to do stuff for you. I'm not exactly an expert on religion here, but aren’t you supposed to be all powerful, or something?"
"Well Technically Yes I Am All Powerful. But That's Kind Of What Starts Most Of These Debacles. There Are Certain Laws That I Have Created That Even I Can Not Violate. One Of Them Being A Non-Interference Law With Humanity. Although That Law Can't Be Broken, It Can Be Bent Which Is Why Belldandy Is Standing Before You And I'm Talking To You. That's The Short Version Since The Long One Would Take The Better PArt Of The Day But Do You Get It?"
".....No," Ranma replied.
"Eh, You'll Understand Eventually.
"Now, About Your Assignment."
