For the first two members of the party we have Ranma Saotome and Nabiki Tendo. However they need more people so the two would have a chance to survive the oncoming journey.
The third member was a man Keitaro Urashima from Hinata where he is the manager of a dorm full of girls. He kept on getting hit by the girls, especially the one called Naru, for basically the same reasons as Ranma did by Akane.
The fourth member was a girl by the name of Anzu Mazaki from Domino. She was around a young man that dealt with magic that was 5000 years old at least. She wanted to help the young man instead of standing on the sidelines all the time.
The fifth member of the party was a girl by the name of Sakura Kasugano. She was a martial artist who was teaching herself the martial arts because she saw Ryu, one of the most famous warriors alive in the world, fight and wanted to fight like him.
