Despite the Anything Goes Style of Martial Arts were karmically cursed he still loved the art. Over the years on his journey he found a new art. Little by little Ranma had cast away the Anything Goes to find the art he now loved.
He met a man who was impressed with Ranma's skill and story that he offered to train him in his sword art.
The man's name was Seijuro Hiko, the true master of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu.
Ranma with his learning curve learned the sword style in an amazingly short time. His friends that traveled with him were amazed at his rate of learning.
He left his sensei of the sword to learn more and learn more he did. In a lot of these worlds he encountered sword styles that he quickly learned and copied on scrolls. Ranma thanks to all the fighting styles of the sword he encountered became a blademaster of blademasters since his skill with the sword was so great.
He even created several styles of his own as he continued on the journey with his friends. One might think that with his attention on the sword he would forget his unarmed fighting skill but he did not. One thing he learned from his socalled father was that if you depended on your weapon too much and was disarmed you were dead.
Ranma vowed that would never happen.
