The Curse had fought its best. It had stopped the first Big Hunk bar, and the second, and the third, and the fourth...but seventy two bars had simply been too much.

With a little magical whimper, the Juesenkyo curse gave up its hold on Ranma Satome and fled back to its spring of origin.

Leaving the martial artist male. *Very* *very* male. Nobody had ever thought of what would happen to anybody who ate seventy two bars of magical candy designed to make the eater into the perfect guy. Namely because nobody could have believed that anyone could eat that much. But Ranma wasn't just anyone...

And at this point, his clothes decided that they had taken enough abuse from the sudden physical change...and fell apart.
