Ranma had taught Urd on how to change back and forth between human and hybrid forms so the pheromones wouldn't affect them as much. Ranma and Urd looked at each other for the first time in human form.
'What a hunk!' Urd thought. 'Can't think like that. If I do I'm stuck being Ranma's wife but he's so cute especially in hybrid form.'
'What a babe.' Ranma's thoughts were wierd for him. For the first time in his life he found a woman sexually attractive. He hid his blush from Urd and concentrated on the contract.
Both Ranma and his new fiancee Urd were going over the contract that engaged them. Ranma was shocked that Genma's stupidity was even more stupid than ever before.
The contract had several conditions. The first and foremost was that any arangements or engagements concerning Ranma made by Genma was null and void.
"Genma must have signed this without reading it, Ranma." Urd spoke up. "I don't see your mother mentioned anywhere."
"Genma probably told the people on your side she was dead or something." Ranma answered. "If this contract is the real deal than that means Genma is in deep trouble."
Ranma's eyes widened when he realized something.
"And so is the Saotome clan if we do not take the right actions." Ranma added. "Urd, we need to see Mom before anyone else. If word of this gets out..."
Urd didn't need Ranma to finish the sentence. She knew if word gets out of this piece of paper the Saotome clan would be dishonored and badly.
They stood up and walked out the door to the Saotome estate.

On the way to the Saotome home Ranma and Urd were talking.
"Urd, why were you honest with me?" Ranma asked.
"Ranma, I may have made some mistakes in my life but I know of your life. I know how almost everyone lies to you especially Genma. If you think I am going to lower myself to that idiot's level you are wrong. I figured someone needs to be honest with you." Urd said with a smile.
"I see. Thank you. If you are going to stay for a while I hope you can stay with Mom." Ranma said. "We'll ask her after she sees this contract."
"Thank you."
"It might be a good idea to teach you martial arts." Ranma added with a serious look on his face. "From what you said your goddess powers are cut off and this would give you a good chance to defend yourself."
Urd saw the wisdom of this and nodded knowing she signed up for a lot of pain in the future but she knew that when the contract became public she would be in danger.
The conversation lightened after that as both enjoyed the walk to his home. It was too bad that the walk was so short.

Ranma and Urd walked into the house just as Nodoka was leaving it. Seeing their faces Nodoka knew something was up.
"Ranma, my son, it is good to see you." Nodoka hugged her son. She noticed the beautiful, platinum woman standing off to one side. "Who is this, Ranma?"
"Her name is Urd and yes she is another fiancee Pops arranged." Ranma paused and took a deep breath. "However this engagement is a lot more serious than stolen goods or food. If our actions are not right the entire Saotome clan would be dishonored."
"What do you mean?" Nodoka asked. The answer was a piece of paper she was handed. Nodoka started reading and her knuckles whitened.
