"Hey! Stop that!" Sakura yelled.
The children looked up saw Sakura. They gulped, dropped the cat, and ran away. Sakura shook her head in bemusement.
"I guess I do have a reputation of not backing down since I fight men three times my size," Sakura said to herself.
She knelt down and looked at the cat. It was a black cat and had an adhesive bandage over its forehead. The cat kept squirming, as if to try and remove the bandage.
"Calm down! Calm down. I'll get it off of you," Sakura said soothingly.
She slowly and carefully removed the bandage from the cat. Upon removing the bandage, Sakura saw that the cat had a crescent moon mark on its head. The cat flipped over and started staring at Sakura. Feeling a bit uncomfortable at the cat's scrutiny of her, Sakura stood up.
"Good-bye. I've got to get to school," Sakura said, waving.
Sakura dashed off and the black cat stared in the direction she went.

After school, Kei Chioste walked home with Sakura.
"How did you do on the test?" Kei asked.
Sakura shrugged. "I did okay. I got an eighty-five."
"If you'd spend more time studying instead of fighting...."
"We're not going to go through that again. I enjoy fighting."
A new voice broke into the conversation. "A girl your age shouldn't be fighting. You should tell your teachers about the bullies."
The two girls turned around. Kei rolled her eyes and Sakura just smiled and shook her head. A young man wearing shades was standing there. He pulled off his shades and looks at Sakura with a bit of concern.
"What would you parents think if they knew you were fighting at school?"
Kei covered her mouth to keep from busting out laughing. Sakura placed her right elbow against a wall while putting her right hand on her cheek. She gave the man a look of amused annoyance
"My parents know about my Street Fighting activities. I don't fight the boys at my school. They wouldn't give me a challenge. I fight trained martial artists," Sakura said. "Such as Edmond Honda the Sumo champion or Ken Masters the world Karate champion. I once faced Sagat the Thai kick-boxing champion."
"Oh."
Sakura shook her head and left with Kei, who was doing her best to keep from laughing out loud.
"Well Mamoru Chiba, you really embarrassed yourself that time," the man whispered to himself.
Mamoru took one glance in the direction that Sakura went. "That is a strange girl."

After arriving home and doing her homework, Sakura started practicing her martial arts. She stopped as she sensed something. She dropped into a fighting stance and looked around. She spotted the strange back cat from earlier.
"Greetings Sakura. My name is Luna," the cat said.
"A talking cat?" Sakura asked in disbelief, as she cupped her hands beside her hip.
"I am a Moon Cat. I have been looking for you for a long time."
"Why me?" Sakura asked.
"You have a power in you that I can sense and..."
"My ki? Any good martial artist would have ki," Sakura interrupted.
"No. Not your life energy. A mystical power. You are needed to find the Moon Princess and help fight back the forces of Metalia. You must become Sailor Moon"
"Uh. I'm up for a good fight, but... Sailor Moon?"
The cat back-flipped and a small compact dropped onto Sakura's bed. Sakura picked it up and looked at it.
Putting it back down, she said, "Nice, but I see no need to wear a brooch."
Luna took a deep breath. "Please put it on. Showing would be much more easier than explaining."
Sakura shrugged and did as Luna wanted.
"Now repeat after me. Moon prism power make up."
"Moon Prism Power! Make Up!" Sakura said.
After a flash of lights surrounding Sakura, she looked at her reflection. She noticed that her Street Fighter outfit had changed slightly. Her headband was gone and a tiara was in its place. She was also wearing red boots instead of her running shoes.
"Not much of a change. I prefer my headband though," Sakura said.
"Er," Luna muttered while sweatdropping.
