She quickly catalouged where everyone was as she entered the house. Ranma was practicing in the dojo, her older sister was in the kitchen, making some sort of beef meal judging by the smells, Kassy was watching television, obviously upset, and her father and Mr. Saotome were gone, probably drinking.
"Hey Kasumi, I'm going to take a bath," she called out to her sister, triumphantly noting the glare that the princess gave her as she lightly gripped the black remote in her hand. Not exactly aknowledging Kasumi's response, Nabiki walked up the stairs, humming to herself.
A few minutes later, after grabbing some clothes to change into and stashing her hard earned cash away, Nabiki walked into the changing area of the bathroom, still humming.
Her humming stopped as she entered the wash area. Blinking stupidly for a few moments, she stared at the covered furo. Then, she opened the door slightly. "Hey, Kasumi? What's with the furo?"
The matronly sister's voice returned instantly. "Oh, Mr. Sugiyama installed one of those new ones just today. Apparantly, it's state of the art! It even has jet stream nozzles."
Nabiki's voice grew somewhat harder. "Have you considered our budget, big sis?"
"Don't worry," was the return. "He gave me a deal for the installation; he's such a nice old man." Nabiki was silent for a few moments, then shrugged. She guessed that Kasumi was right about their neighbor, though she didn't really know much aout him.
A few minutes later, Nabiki was thanking Kasumi for getting it. The water, though it had probably been drawn for quite a while, was still just right for relaxing, and the jet streams felt soooo good on her muscles. The water was even scented, though she couldn't just place what the scent was. The comfort made her begin to doze off, as she rested her head just above the waterline.
And that was just enough for the cover of the furo to whip over her head without touching it. Nabiki blinked in the sudden darkness for a few seconds before the smell increased, and the jets turned on full blast. Nabiki choked as some of the scented water got up her nose, and she frantically pounded on the cover, shouting and screaming for help. Unfortunately for her, not only did the cover not budge, and not only did nobody come to her rescue, but she didn't even notice the tingling that took place within her body.
A few seconds later, the jets shut off suddenly, and the cover flew back into place. The mercenary Tendo immediately sat up, coughing and trying to get air. A few seconds late, she felt that she was safe. "What the hell was that?" she asked herself, placing a hand on her chest.
Then Nabiki paused, as she sensed that something was off. Strangely, her voice was deeper, and she seemed to be missing her...
Oh my.
Slowly, Nabiki looked down into the tub, where a pale blue formula still existed, though it was not enough to hide the...
* * *
Kasumi frowned as she listened to the masculine scream that erupted from the bathroom, then looked over at her partner in crime, who was now giggling. "Are you sure I should have lied to her?"
The blonde merely smiled as she looked at the remote control that she had cannibalized for the practical joke. "Well, technically it wasn't a lie; your neighbor did help with the wiring and all." Actually, all the retired electrician really did was supply the wires and give some expert advice, but it was still helping. "She deserves it, anyways, after taking my money and taking those photos of me."
It should be noted that she hadn't realized that Nabiki had sold the ecchi photos to Kuno... yet.
Kasumi hmmed, then nodded. "I suppose your right; she does it all the time to Akane-chan and Ranma." A frown reappeared on her face. "Will that 'transmogrify' potion stay in the tub? I would hate to change sexes as well," she remarked.
Kassy shook her head. "Nope, there was only enough for one session. Besides, the liquid based version requires certain stimuli in order to actually work. It's a bit archaic, but it still works." Kasumi looked at her for a few moments, then shrugged.
