Ichi nodded. "I understand." So the Panda's name was Saotome-san. The black haired woman shrugged. It wasn't too terribly important. The bear had to be tame, otherwise the family wouldn't be allowed to keep it. She bowed slightly. "My name is Ichikoo Rivalsan-Ichinohei. And this," she said, while indicating the young teenager next to her, "Is my cousin and student, Bento Katana." In response, the teenager bowed as well.
The lady smiled and bowed as well. "I'm Kasumi Tendo, pleased to make your aquantance."
Ichi nodded. "Right. You see, the reason I'm here is to see my neice, her name's Kassoperia Feeple. But she goes by the name of Kassy."
"Oh my. Is she alright?" Kasumi asked, slightly worried for her guest. The fact that it was Kassy's aunt that wanted to see her not with-standing, if something was wrong, Kasumi wondered why Kassy hadn't come to her and talked to her about it.
Ichi shook her head. "Oh, nothing much. I was just in the area and I thought to see my niece." She lied through her teeth. No need to have the woman know why she was really there.
Bento blinked. "But, didn't you come here to ask Kassy about what she diYEOOW!" He cried out as Ichi stepped on his foot rather harshly.
Ichi shook her head and glared slightly at Bento. There was no need for the woman in front of them to know about what Kassy had done... Yet.
Kasumi smiled. "I see. Well, come on in. I'm sure she'll be home soon." She said and walked back into the house. The food was still on the stove and cooking, and it wouldn't do to have it be over-cooked.
Ichi nodded and followed the woman into the house. Bento followed a moment later, after hopping on his one not sore foot for a few more moments. "If you don't mind my prying, but do you know where Kassy is?"
Kasumi turned and smiled at her. "I think Nabiki said that she went with Ranma for some training." It was good that Ranma was actually taking time to train Kassy. She seemed like such a nice girl and Kasumi didn't want something bad to happen to her. Even if Kasumi acted airheaded at times, she could see when a person was highly skilled. It was the reason she never really made too much of a fuss when Ranma's friends showed up, as long as they took their fights outside.
Ichi blinked. "Training? What kind of training?" Though, she had a suspition as to what it was. Once inside, she took off her shoes. Behind her, Bento did the same thing as he looked around the first floor of the house. The teenager had to admit, that the place was rather nice. It was better than most individual houses in Japan, especially Tokyo.
Her suspitions were confirmed a moment later as Kasumi turned back and smiled. "Why, training for Martial Arts Street Hockey in two weeks." She said, as if it happened every day. In truth, it did happen nearly every day, at least for members of this household.
Ichi blinked and shook her head. "That makes no sense." She muttered to herself. Asrial had told her that neither Lexus nor Kassy liked to train. Heck, their grandmother had tried to train them, but they quit after only the first few hours. 'So why would she start training now?' Ichi asked herself.
Kasumi walked to the kitchen. "Oh, sit down, I'm sure that they'll be back shortly." She said, smiling brightly.
Ichi and Bento blinked. There was something in the way that the young woman said that that made them agree to that.
(----)
A few minutes later...
Bento blinked as he saw the girl who had been up in the air most of the day walk out into the living room. He looked at her chest, then compared what he saw to what he had seen all day in the air. "Awww... No fair!" He whined. "I've been gyyped." He complained to Ichi, before pointing to Nabiki, who was only a couple feet away from him. "They're smaller in person!"
Nabiki's eye twitched. "Yeah, I bet." She muttered.
*WHUMP!*
Ichi raised an eyebrow as the girl that Bento insulted smashed his head to the floor with a metal mallet. Ironically, it was slightly larger than the ones she had used as a teenager when she and Asrial were rivals. "That..." She started, unknowingly starting one of the most popular phrases in all of fandom again, "he had coming."
Kasumi came out to the living room from the kitchen and blinked upon seeing Bento's face under a mallet. "Oh my! Is Akane back? Or is it that Kodachi girl?"
Ichi blinked, before shaking her head and pointing to Nabiki. "She did it."
Kasumi blinked, then nodded, before heading back into the kitchen. "Well, no harm done then."
"Before you go," Ichi spoke up, hoping to find out where her neice went to. "I was wondering if you knew when Kassy's going to be back, if it's possible."
Kasumi turned around and smiled serenly, not that she smiled any other way really. "Well, I do think that they'll return shortly. Ranma-kun hasn't missed a supper here in nearly three months. Unless one of his out-of-town friends shows up. Then he can run late. But he should be here in a few minutes." Supper was nearly done, and she knew that Ranma never liked to miss a meal.
Ichi nodded, and pulled out a cell-phone. Dialing a few numbers, she waited a moment, before getting ahold of someone. "Yes, this is Ichi. No, don't wait up for me. Take the limo and head to one of the garages we have in this district. Get yourself some dinner. I'll call you when we're done here." She said. She wasn't as hard on her employees as her husband was at times.
