An American Skunkgirl in Nerima: The Walk Home [Episode 118266]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

Ranma sighed as he walked back to the dojo. On his back Kassy groaned tiredly, her arms hanging loosely over his shoulders, her head was on his shoulder, her eyes extremely heavy. “And you said you came from a family of fighters,” He whispered to her. He wasn’t being mean about it, but he never thought someone from a family of fighters would have so much trouble with basic training.

Kassy groaned, not even working up enough energy to do much more than that. “Hey...” She managed to croak out. “I’m a princess... I’m not used to working this hard.” So what if she was never going to inherit the throne? She was still royalty.

Ranma nodded at that. “True. But you’re fairly strong and fast. A couple more days of this, and you won’t feel anything.”

The pigtailed boy smirked slightly as Kassy groaned tiredly. Ranma had to wonder... Did hearing your own students complain like that give a trainer some satisfaction? If so, he understood Cologne, Happosai and his father's ways of teaching a bit easier now. He then thought about their personal habits and shook his head. “Nope,” He thought to himself, “I’ll never understand those three...”

Kassy let out a low moan. God, her body was sore. Her head hurt, her back hurt, and her legs ESPECIALLY hurt. She was pretty sure if she were in Salusian form, then her tail would’ve been hurting too.

Ranma shook his head. He really had to wonder how Kassy was so strong, for someone not in Nerima that is, without any basic training. Hell, even Kuno had more training than she did, though the blonde girl was just a tad stronger. At least in his opinion. “Now I have to think of some more training,” He muttered to himself.

“Anything...” Kassy gasped out. “Anything without trains...” She groaned once more. Her legs were killing her. She was lucky she had managed to keep up with that damn locomotive; her adrenaline had been pumping sky-high. While she was pretty sure she could’ve healed should something have gone wrong, she didn’t want to be hurt in the first place, PERIOD!

Ranma nodded. “Okay,” He said. Now what could he use... Trains were a no go. He could have sworn that Kassy’s legs looked like they were about to break. “How about wolves? No... Too hard to get them in the city...” How the heck was he going to train Kassy if he couldn’t get the materials for basic training?

Lifting her head a little so her chin was resting on Ranma’s right shoulder, the skunk-eared girl asked, “How about meditation? Meditation is good, right?” It had to be. It wouldn’t be any thing strenuous that would try to break her.

Ranma raised an eyebrow at that. “Hmm... Meditation only really works if you can use Ki though...” It had other uses as well, but he needed to find someway to train Kassy so she could get faster. Or at least dodge easier. He then blinked as an idea came to him. “Okay, that could work.”

Kassy smiled. “You mean it?” She sounded VERY relieved.

Ranma nodded. “Yeah. No more chasing trains for you,” He said, smiling brightly. “Instead, I just thought up some training that will allow you to dodge attacks without seeing them!” It was something that Genma had thought up, but Ranma really doubted that Kassy would like railroad ties being thrown at her while blindfolded.

“Really?” Kassy asked. That did sound like it could be useful. But still... “Does it involved you beaning me in the head with a series rather-heavy objects?” She asked irritably. Her head STILL smarted from where Ranma got her in the forehead with a rock from before.

Ranma shook his head. “No. Just some equipment that we have left over from a couple years back. Hmm... Maybe I can get Mousse to loan me his yo-yos.” It was something to think about, provided that they weren’t spiked or anything.

Kassy blinked her eyes once, twice. “Yo-yos, huh?” She asked. Okay, THAT didn’t sound bad at all. Perhaps he was finally going to go easy on her.

“Yeah,” Ranma said, nodding slightly. He really should have mentioned to Kassy that the mypoic Amazon’s yo-yos were hard enough to crack stone, or knockout the Phoenix people in a fight. But the skunk-girl would find that out when he trained her. “Anyway, it’s not going to be easy, Kassy.”

Pouting lightly at that last part Ranma told her, Kassy nodded her head reluctantly. “Knowing you, you’ll have me playing with yo-yos while on a tightrope across the mouth of an active volcano, right?”

Hearing that, Ranma blinked his eyes. “What gave you that idea?” He asked, turning his head to look at her as though she was crazy. “I’ll have you know that even my old man isn’t that crazy!”

Kassy let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God. If you don’t go that far that I very well MAY live through this.”

Ranma smirked at that. “Oh, don’t worry, I went through worse stuff than this. I’m alright.” Provided that there wasn’t a cat around, but he didn’t need to tell her that.

Kassy frowned. “I still don’t think it was right that you should’ve trained in such dangerous stuff so young,” She said disapprovingly.

Ranma shrugged, nearly blushing as he felt Kassy’s breasts slide up and down his back at that. “I learned to move on and try to forget it.” A melancholy look came to his face for a moment. “Though sometimes...” He said, nearly shuddering. He still had nightmares at times, though, they seemed to be lessening in intensity for now. “Last time they did that, they came back with a vengeance,” He thought bitterly to himself.

“Sometimes?" Kassy asked curiously, her arms tightenind around Ranma's neck a little. "What happens sometimes?”

Ranma was silent, thinking about the nights where either Genma had woken him up, or Kasumi had to come in and shake him awake. “I...” He started, before shaking his head. “Don’t worry about it,” Ranma said softly. There was no need for Kassy to worry about his problems.

Kassy frowned, but otherwise let this slide, for now anyway. “Okay...”

Ranma smiled slightly at that. “Thanks.” His voice came to her ears, just as softly as before. “How you feeling?” He asked as they got fairly close to the dojo.

“Tired...” Kassy answered. “I may just have dinner and go right to bed, I’m so beat...” She told Ranma honestly.

Ranma nodded at that. He could relate. “Why do you think it’s so simple for me to sleep during school?” He asked, pushing her body up slightly as she started to slide down a little.

A blush came across the half-Salusian’s face as she felt Ranma’s firm, masculine hands on her butt. Even though she had shorts on, Kassy easily felt his strong grip. “I guess you need to regain a lot of energy, huh?” She asked.

“I guess. It’s not so bad unless Ryoga, Mousse or the old pervert decide to attack me, but I’d rather be anywhere but in the class-room,” The only real reason he went was because both of his parents told him to go. Well, that and he could actually hang around people his own age, even if he didn't really fit in with them at times.

Kassy smirked a little at that. “Care to skip class tomorrow then?” She asked nicely. To be honest, she’d rather be anywhere AWAY from that homeroom teacher of theirs. That Ninomiya Hinako unnerved her terribly.

Ranma smirked at that. Cutting class was a good thing. “For what?” He asked, his mind already running through several possibilities. He started to blush as they started to get less and less pure and more into a hentai-dominant realm.

“To work on my training...” Kassy told Ranma. “And have enough time for an afternoon nap,” She added. She was pretty sure she’d need one after a morning of heavy training.

Ranma thought about it, before nodding. When it came to training and taking time off of school for it, the school board was lenient on it. Provided that you could still maintain a passing grade. Even if you were in danger of failing at times. “Sure thing, Kaschan,” He said, as they got near the Tendo home.

Smiling, Kassy told Ranma, "Thank you.”

Ranma nodded. “Sure thing,” He said to her. At least she was happy, even if he was going to train her. “I’ll just have pops or Kasumi call the school up and tell them that we’re training tomorrow,” He said, just as they entered the Tendo property.

Kassy smiled. Good. They were home now. She could eat, rest, and spend the day working out on being able to beat that Kuonji jerk in a fair fight. She’d show her, oh she’d show Ukyo that no one messed with Salusian royalty, not even...

Kassy blinked her eyes once...

Twice...

Thrice...

“Auntie Ichi?”
