Of course, Ranma's definition of a mildly-dangerous opponent was one that could fight Mousse and Shampoo evenly.
"Hello, Kassy." Ichi said in a slightly cool tone of voice. Only slightly cool, as the mouse off to the side demonstrated by getting on a winter parka that they wore in Alaska and the Northern Great Plains during winter. [Glaciers are warmer.] She blinked as she caught the guy with the braided hair that Kassy was with check her out. Now while most women would be either embarrassed or insulted that someone was checking them out, Ichi knew the look in the raven-haired guy's blue-gray eyes. It was the look of one martial artist or warrior to another as they sized up potential competition, enemies or sparring partners and rated them on their own personal scale. Ichi may have been an executive in her husband's company, but she was still one of the best ninjas of her generation, and had done the same thing numerous times when she was a teenager. Giving the boy a once-over, she had to admit he had some skill in the Art, how much, she couldn't really tell, though he seemed to be competent enough.
Kassy, in the meantime, wasn’t paying attention to how her aunt and her best Japanese friend were sizing each other up, but more to her aunt’s tone of voice. The half-Salusian cringed slightly. ‘Dear Gods, she knows.’ It was the only explanation that Kassy could think of. There was no other reason that her aunt would show up at the place she was staying, unless she wanted to have a little “talk” with a certain niece about a certain prank. And if Ichi knew, chances were that her mother and father knew. The blonde half-Salusian winced internally. That was something she didn’t want to happen.
Hopefully, she wouldn’t get into TOO much trouble as the satellite that had been transmitting the image across the sky had gone down after a couple of hours.
“Oh wait!” Ranma spoke up suddenly. “You’re that aunt of Kassy’s, the one that can manipulate raw Chi, aren’t you?” He said excitedly. Maybe she could give him some tips on it, or at least show him what she knew.
Ichi blinked as the teenager said that. “Well, yeah, I can manipulate raw Chi…” She said, slightly hesitant. She wasn’t the best at that. Her Aunt Anna Feeple and her Grandfather were much better at it than she was. Compared to them, she was an amateur. The only real reason that she even learned how to use Chi as a weapon was because of that fight with Benji and that mutt Peachbody when she was still a teen. She shook her head; she had more important things to do at that moment besides the Art. “I take it that you’re Ranma then?” Ichi smiled slightly when he nodded his head. “Well, I need to talk to Kassy about a little image that was in the sky earlier today.” She said, her tone returning back to the steel it was before.
Before Kassy could really try to defend herself, Ranma spoke up, looking really confused. “Image? What image?” So he wasn’t the most observant of people, he was sure he would have seen some sort of image in the sky.
Kassy blinked, he hadn’t seen the image of a topless Nabiki in the sky all day? She was slightly grateful that he hadn’t noticed, otherwise he might have been mad at her. Though, with the levels of almost insane cheerfulness that he seemed to bring to the table, that really didn’t seem possible. “Um… Eh heh… Auntie, can we talk about this inside?” Needless to say, if Ranma didn’t know, she didn’t think he really needed to find out about it.
Ichi sighed and nodded. No need for them to hang their dirty laundry out for everyone to see, so to speak. It was one of the weird, by most outsiders, customs that the Japanese had. She turned around and walked inside. She didn’t even have to look back, as she was able to sense Kassy’s presence moving closer to the door of the house.
Kassy sighed as Ranma carried her into the Tendo house. Now if only she could find someway to distract her aunt before the shit hit the fan.
