Why did the precinct captain have to drone on and on about her dedication to working like a pro and her efforts to better serve man? And what was with the knowing smirks when he mentioned she had gone undercover with a gnoll pimp, working closely under him despite his being a hard man to please, turning out all her tricks until she had enough information to walk the streets and get her man?
It was amazing how much innuendo he could cram into his speech when she had only worked behind the bar at a hostess club. It wasn’t like she had actually combined pleasure with business… Cheeses, and they called her sex obsessed. But at least she had obtained evidence against the drug smuggler and bagged him. It was the biggest bust of her career.
Ranma looked up as she realised that the captain was just getting around to mentioning that, and with his speech all wrapped up it was time for her to walk up on stage and strut her stuff like the shedevil she was and accept the award.
Cheese, now she was doing it to herself. ‘Stop that.’
