Though he was rather clueless on a lot of things, Ranma was quite aware of how one could take care of travelling. He'd been doing it for years, and he knew how to do certain things. Taking different modes of transportation were no problem for him, and at least in this, he knew the little tricks that would allow him to get where he wanted to go.

Of course, Hokkaido had not been it, but since he'd been through similiar incidents before, though not quite that bad, he knew that he could handle this. It just meant that he had to find another way to get back down. And since the train had been a bust, he decided that a ship might be a better option.

Which wasn't so bad, considering the fact that he'd been on them before, and he knew how to approach a ship's captain for passage. Even if he didn't have enough money to buy his passage outright, he could always work his way down, and hopefully manage to get there without much more hassle.

So he made his way to a harbor, and decided to try to find a likely looking vessel. Though he'd like to have a cabin and take a simple charter south, he knew that even the big cruise ships could cost quite a bit. But if he could find a deal, or get a ship going down there anyway, it would be best.

Standing there, he knew that he could have some troubles, but he hoped that he could get this to be an easy part as he approached the docks, and made his way towards the:
