Thunder crashed as rain poured down, druming against the hospital windows. Lightning flashed, the multiple beds of the room being illuminated for a moment before being plunged back into darkness. The slow rhytmic sound of the beeping monitors continued on as it always did, the rooms occupants unaware of either it, or the raging storm outside.
Time ticked forward, as one monitor began to beep out of tempo. What was once a slow steady beat began to increase erraticly, the sheet covering the swollen chest rising and falling with each deeper breath as the figures head begins to roll back and forth on the pillow, grunts and cries starting to filter up from the bandaged female face.
Suddenly, with a massive roar of thunder rattling the windows, the figure on the bed rose up with a scream. "LYDIA....ROMEO....NOOOOO!!!!" as she reached out into the air, needles ripping out of flesh. Her body sat ridged upon the bed for a few minutes as her monitor began to slow down once again before she rolls into a ball, her sobbing soon drowning out the beeps.
The rain out side began to tapper off, the thunder and lightening rolling off into the distance as the storm continued on it's path as the young woman began to stiffle her cries, tear stained eye starting to come up to examine her surroundings. She sniffled as her one uncovered eye adjusted to the darkened room, sweeping the room for any hidden danger, though only holding comotose humans before whispering to herself. "Where am I?"
