"Nice concert," said a familiar voice.
"Ree-chan!" Minako hugged Reacher very enthusiastically.
"Hey! You're blowing my image as a big dangerous lone wolf type," protested the spirit-wolf.
"Aw you're just so huggable," responded Minako, not letting go.
Reacher just endured it for a few moments, managing to look terribly embarrassed by the display. "There's another adventure about to hit the fan."
"Aw, don't say that," protested Minako, backing off and brushing her clothes as if to remove any hairs that might have come off the spirit-wolf. "Why can't I just go out on a date with Ran-chan?!"
"Because you get mobbed if you show your face in public?" Reacher offered.
"So we'd go somewhere less crowded," countered Minako. "Where is he, anyway?"
Ranma stood on the highest point of the stadium's sign, facing into the wind and looking out over the city. At this time of night it was a starfield almost - the various lights of the city spread out across the field of view.
He singled out a car racing across a stretch of freeway, flashing lights of a police car in pursuit. Ranma smirked, knowing it would be Haruka and probably Michiru. Meaning that he was right and another adventure was rumbling down upon them all.
Smiling in spite of himself, Ranma began leaping down to where Minako would be waiting.
