Haruka was a gear head and fighter, more likely to be found working out, or fixing a car than doing anything that might be called 'feminine'. If that police car had indeed been theirs, then she was likely behind the wheel. She could drive anything if put inside of it, and had done so on multiple occassions. When they needed someone chased down, she was the woman for the job.
On the other hand, Michiru was the cool and calm one. There was almost a sense that she could... feel things others couldn't, but it wasn't enough to really impact on her skills as an officer. She was the planner and negotiator of the pair, and she definately was able to balance out her partner's aggressive nature. Where Haruka was perfectly at home with street toughs and barkeeps, Michiru was the one to go to see corporate big wigs and reasonably high officials.
Together, they were probably the department's best female, if not overall, team, despite the fact that women were usually only found in either tasks that included telling traffic where to go, or asking 'sugar and cream?'. They'd had some trouble in the beginning, with the green haired girl proving adept at dodging problems, and the blonde gaining a reputation among some for being a 'ballbreaker'. It didn't stop them both from getting asked out on dates, as both of them were attractive women. However, they'd never accepted any requests, and were seemingly married to their jobs.
However, his involvement with them was simply one of aquaintance, since he'd see them from time to time. Michiru he got along with rather well, but it was his relationship with Haruka that was odd. Sometimes they ended up arguing, and at others, they could spend the evening talking. There was nothing romantic about it at all, as it was more of a friendly rivalry. He acted as the cocky jerk, and she gave as good as she got, save in fighting skills. In that arena, she was lagging behind him, but she was always striving to get better. She always promised to give him a lesson in 'manners' someday.
If anything, he wasn't going to hold his breath with every time she said that.
But pushing them out of his head, he turned his attentions back to Minako. She'd probably be all sweaty from the lights being on her, and the workout that her concert would have been. And she'd be all pumped up from the excitement of being able to both sing and having people enjoy her songs. Of course, they couldn't meet like normal people...
He didn't mind that, as the benefits outweighed any silly little drawbacks.
"Ranma!" her voice carried through the area only a few breaths before a slim blonde figure slammed into him, giving him a big hug.
Smiling, he put his arms around her. "Hey, Minako. How are you?"
"Wonderful."
"I'm glad."
"Good," she replied mock-haughtily, and then gave a happy sigh as she laid her head on his shoulder.
He simply rubbed his cheek against the golden silkiness of her hair for a moment while:
