What came about was an astonishing result. Since magic tended to affect things just by being there, it became the deciding factor of what would happen to the men. Mystical Talents started popping up in those who'd been exposed to the cure. It could be anything from simple tricks to big shows, as the level varied between men. Though the Talents seemed to match the individual somewhat, there was no real way to be sure to know who was going to be able to do what.
Some thought it might be the result of an act by a group fighting against those who'd brought out the virus in the first place. Others considered it some sort of side effect, and many of them postulated that it was genetic. Still more wondered if it wasn't due to some otherworldly power getting involved.
Whatever the case, most could be sure of anything involving it, save the fact that it was undeniable that the men could be so empowered.
One group did know, and were watching the results of what they'd done.
"Was that what you meant to do?" Mars asked.
Mercury simply stared at what she was seeing. "Not quite, but at least they are not dying."
"No, they're just making with the magic."
"It is understandable, given that a great deal of magic has been used in this situation."
"But are there going to be any problems with this?" Jupiter asked. "I mean, with guys having magic all over the place..."
"I doubt that there could be a major difficulty, though it is possible. But there are just too few men for there to be a disaster even if a number of them banded together. On the other hand, we'll have to wait until the next generation comes along."
"So we'll have to wait until they have kids?"
"No..," the Ice Senshi began and then winced. "At least I hope not..."
Venus scowled. "That is so not reassuring."
"Sorry..."
"It's okay. But what's next?"
The other Senshi looked at her, then at the scene shown in the Time Gate while:
