10 Rings (S,Mo,Me,Ma,J): Ucchan's vengeance [Episode 11989]

by Kestral

"I got ta marry him... her?" Ranma was still trying to get his mind around the concept that his old buddy Ucchan was a girl.

"Your dad made a promise with mine!" said Ukyo, "You and your dad would get our cart and I would go with you! When you left me behind, everyone started talking about me and how I wasn't ever going to be a bride! So I trained for the day that I found you!"

"But my Pops didn't say anything about it," Ranma objected.

"That doesn't matter, because I found this!" Ukyo held up a slender object. "Now I can pay you back for that!"

Everyone blinked at the object Ukyo was brandishing. It had a large sack and several tubes and was covered in pink fur.

"Uhm, what is it?" Ranma asked, never having seen one before.

"I don't recognize it either," Mercury noted.

Ukyo twitched.

"I think it's a doohickey," suggested Moon.

"It's kinda weird looking," said Saturn.

Ukyo twitched again.

"Maybe it's used in making those pancake thingies?" Mars suggested. "Not sure how."

Ukyo twitched BIG TIME.

"I thought they were pizzas," Jupiter brought up. "Sort of."

Ukyo growled while twitching.

"Young one, what in the world are you doing with one of those?" Cologne asked. "I haven't seen one since I was a little girl."

"Oh, so it's something prehysterical," said Ranma with a nod. Bonk! "owie!"

"Well, maybe it's kind of a flatbread sort of thing," speculated Jupiter.

"I still think that was a pancake," insisted Mars. "Or maybe a waffle."

"AARRGGHHHH!" Ukyo exclaimed and put her mouth against one of the tubes. "Now you'll pay!"

"But I don't have any money," complained Ranma.

The sound began to play from the odd device.

"It's a cat skinner?" Moon suggested, based on the noise.

"It's a bagpipe," declared Cologne.

A cloud of smoke appeared from one of the tubes and formed a huge being. "Little One. I Didst Tell Thee What Wouldst Happen If Thou Didst Seek To Invoke My Powers Again! Suffer Ye Now The Consequences!"

"Umino?!" Moon asked.

The huge being blinked and abruptly shrank down into a guy who looked completely nerdish. "Moon?!"

"Oh wow! It's been a millenia! How ya been!" Usagi hugged her old friend.

"It's been pretty rotten," declared Umino. "The last sha'ir I had fancied himself a sorcerer and managed to turn my lamp into a pink-furred bagpipe. Then I got sold to some Japanese collector, and ended up tossed into the garbage. Then this twit made a wish that she be reunited with the boy she loved-"

"EEEK!" Ukyo eeeked. "What makes you think I love some fiancee-abandoner like him!"

"Have you seen Naru lately?" Moon asked.

"Not since the sha'ir. I think she's in a gravy boat nowadays." Umino shook his head.

"Hey! You're interrupting my vengeance quest!" Ukyo protested.

"Oh. Yeah. Sorry about this," apologized Umino to Moon. "Have to take care of the pancake girl first. That your new Master?"

"Yeah! Ranma's a great Master!" Moon enthused.

"Oh that's right," said Mercury. "You're one of those who can only be used once. One good wish. The next wish is a monkey paw."

"Monkey shmonkey," said Ukyo. "I wish that Ranma Saotome, for abandoning me, for causing me to lose my childhood, for everything I've suffered..."

"Can we get on with this?" Umino interrupted. "It's going to be screwed up anyway you know."

Ukyo waved it off, she was on a role. "I wish that Ranma Saotome was-"

Mercury prepared a Reflect spell just in case. Moon prepared a Remove Curse. Mars prepared to flame the strange girl.

"I wish that Ranma was," repeated Ukyo, trying to get the mood right,
