Ranma scratched his head. "Well, I just never thought about it. Ya were always tryin' ta beat me when I would get an okonomiyaki from the cart, and Pops always said that girls couldn't be fighters..."
Several glares were leveled at Genma while Cologne shook her head. "How many girls had you been around?"
"Before meetin' Saturn?"
"Yes, child."
"Uh... none, 'cept I guess Ucchan was one."
"So you had no idea what a girl was supposed to be like?"
"Nah. I mean, I saw them when Pops would send me ta school, but they were always playin with dolls and giggling an' stuff."
"And Ukyo was different?"
"Yeah... He..," Ranma said and then wilted under the girl's glare, "um... she, was cool and not all silly like some of those girls."
"But why did you leave me behind?!" growled Ukyo.
"Like I said, I didn't know you were supposed ta come with us. Pops just asked me if I liked you or okonomiyaki better and I said okonomiyaki."
"You like me less thatn okonomiyaki..."
"Ta eat, yeah."
"Huh?"
"He'd been joking about which tasted better and I thought he was talkin' 'bout that."
"I see," said Cologne. "I take it that you have no problem about marying this girl?"
"I guess not. I mean, it was a promise, right?"
Ukyo blinked slightly. "You mean that?"
"Yeah... I guess..."
"I hate to break up this moment," Umino said with a sigh, "but you did call me out."
Turning to the genie, Ukyo said,:
