A blurred area that could only be caught as a discrepency, a shape caught in the corner of the eye. Something had been there. Something perfectly normal for the park as there were people passing on the other side of the blur with no indication that something was amiss.
Pacing around, Pluto started the process of tracking the blur backwards, while trying to fit the pieces of this puzzle together.
Boy appears and gives WAFFy moments with sister. Prior to that there is no indication of the boy. Time wrinkled around the point of origin for this child. An unexplained gap in midair. Gates Of Time use a hitherto unknown security protocol to lock down rather than view the event that wrinkled time.
Motion caught her eye.
There was the boy, or nearly so. There was no blue tint to his hair, and less resemblence to Ami, but it was very close to being the same child.
There was a set of scrolls nearby, open as if someone had been reading them.
Sailor Pluto manipulated the viewing field going towards them and looking down.
Pluto shuddered. The words and phrases seemed to twist as if they'd been pinned to the page. While on the whole they were meaningless gibberish, together they seemed... hungry and menacing?
The feeling of ice-cold ants using her spine as a hiking trail intensified as she tried to make sense of this.
flash! SLAM!
Once again the Garnet Orb had signalled and the Gates Of Time had closed.
Pacing back and forth again, Pluto began putting it all together. When she did her eyes were wide with horror. Someone was erased from all existence so that they no longer existed in the past?!
There were Japanese tales, such as that 'Laughing Target' by that Takahashi girl, of such things. Sailor Pluto had laughed them off as naive, yet it appeared that it HAD happened.
The question now that she knew basically what had happened was - what to do about it?
