"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"What was that?!" asked Dr Mizuno and Ranma together.
"It sounded like a scream of anguish and frustration, echoing through time and space," decided Ranma after a few moments of contemplation.
"Very poetic, but I think it's just someone turning the volume up on their TV in another apartment," offered the doctor.
"Except that nobody else is in the apartment building at this time. Shikishima on the next floor is off on vacation. Or adventure," said Ranma. "Oh well. Hmmmm. I'll meet this girl, and accept it for now. We'll have to decide later. She's the one that wants to be a doctor, right?"
"That's her," agreed Dr. Mizuno.
"I'll think further on it at any rate," said Ranma gruffly.
It took a little while longer for the Doctor to feel satisfied with her negotiations and to leave, at which point Ranma wheeled his chair to his main monitor and brought up a minimized screen.
Everything about the physician had been scanned during her time in the room, unknowing that he'd manuevered her to spend most of the time in between sets of scanning devices.
With a smile, Ranma took a pair of tweezers and went back over the area the doctor had been standing in. The scan process had a side-effect in that the individual felt itchy, and so he'd only had to wait. The finding of a blue-tinted hair rewarded his search.
Sailor Pluto was still reeling from the omiai revelation and therefore missed what Ranma was doing with genetic scans and the like.
"WHY ME?!" cried out Sailor Pluto, though whom she was addressing was not entirely clear.
Her investigation thus far had shown her things had gotten messed up fairly thoroughly by her standards.
Hotaru viewed Ranma as her best friend, her sempai, and her sensei. Ami was now engaged at least tentatively to Ranma through an omiai arrangement. There were android "backup Senshi" being prepared to assist the Senshi through their worst battles.
It was just all so WRONG!
Still, what could she do about it?
