He was laying on a pallet and pillow, covered by a blanket.   Kasumi knelt by his side, applying a wet cloth to his forehead. “Oh, Ranma, you’re awake,” she cried with relief.   “It’s not like you to be out so long after a little love tap.   Are you alright?”

“I’m fine,” Ranma assured her.   “(But man, what a weird dream.)”

(It was not a dream,) his help system assured him.   (This system awaits your command.)

“Oh, okay,” Ranma whispered.

“Are you sure?” Kasumi asked.

“I’m sure,” Ranma reassured her, then paused to consider.   Kasumi was nice and innocent and such, but she was there and he needed to test his power on someone. “(Jeannie, can you make Kasumi do whatever I want?   Like hypnosis or something?)”

(Affirmative.   As long as a person is within your sphere of influence I can implant an irresistable posthypnotic suggestion.   Do you wish to do this?)

“(Yeah, sure, but first, what’s this ‘sphere of influence’?)”

(The range within which your power works.   As you develop greater control, the sphere will grow larger.   Currently this sphere has a radius of approximately fifty feet.   Now, please state the command you wish me to implant:)

“Ranma, are you sure you’re alright?”   Kasumi asked in concerned distress.   “You’re staring off into space.”

“Don’t worry about me, Kasumi, I’m fine.”

Kasumi blinked.   “Okay then.   I had better get back to my chores and you should get to school.”

“I think I’ll stay home today,” Ranma told her.

“Pff.   Whatever,” Kasumi dismissed him with a shrug as she stood to leave.

“(What’s gotten into her all of a sudden?)” Ranma wondered.

(As commanded, the subject will no longer worry about you,) his ‘Genie’ told him.   (She no longer considers you to be of any importance.)

“(That’s not what I meant, Jeannie!)” Ranma cursed.   “(I wasn’t talking to you!   I… Wait, you mean it worked?)”

“Ranma,” Kasumi called.   “I really think you should get ready for school, now.   You’re late enough already!”

“Yeah, alright!   (Hey, Jeannie, to avoid confussion you are not to do anything unless I first say, or think, the words ‘I wish:’.)”

(Understood.   The key phrase ‘I wish:’ will be required to preface any future instructions to this system.)

“(Then, I wish that whenever I say ‘Ranma says:’ that Kasumi will do what I say next without realizing it.)”

“(&rsqou;Kay, now that’s taken care of, there is something I need to do.)”   So thinking, he dashed to the bathroom and splashed himself with cold water.   “What the…?   Hey, Jeannie, you said I was cured.   What gives?”

“Oh,” Ranma said.   “Then I wish to remove the curse.”

(Morphic field regulator now inactive,) the system replied.

“Hey, I’m still a girl!”

(Affirmative.   Your morphic field is now stablised in the current configuration.)

Ranma quickly splashed himself with hot water and remained female.   He paniked.   “Arrrgh   I’m stuck as a girl!”

(Negative.   This system is capable of adjusting your morphic field.)

“Then do so!” he shouted.   “Argghh!   I’m still a girl!   Why?”

(As previously commanded, this system will not implement any command without the keying phrase, ‘I wish:’,) the system responded in a miffed tone.

“(Oh, right,)” Ranma thought as he regained his composure.   “(I wish to be a guy again!)”

(Done,) and he was.   A quick test confirmed that he would remain male when splashed.

“(Cool!   I’m ah nev-ah gonn-ah be ah girl ah-gain!)” Ranma sang and danced for joy.

(Unless you wish it,) the system amended.

“(Why would I wish for something like that to happen?)”

(For the purpose of disquise,) the system reiterated.

“(Yeah, I guess that’s … hey, in the dream, you said I could turn into other things.)”

(Confirmed.   This system can alter your form to any other human forms.   With further study, other forms will become available.)

“(Right, then I wish to look like… uhm, Kasumi.)

(Done,) the system informed him, though he needed only to look into the mirror to tell him.   Kasumi’s reflection, dressed in his ussual clothes, stared back out at him.

He glanced down and stared.   His shirt, mostly loose on his female form but tight on his male form, was even tighter tight in a different way on Kasumi’s taller, more mature female frame.   “Oh, my!” he heard Kasumi’s voice emerge form his throat.

“Oh, my,” Kasumi echoed from outside the open bathroom door.

“Ahhh…“ Ranma paniced momentarily, then blurted: ”Kasumi, Ranma says: go away and forget what you just saw.”

Kasumi blinked at her double, then turned an left.   She paused at the top of the stairs, frowned confusedly at the empty laundry basket in her hands, then returned to the scene.

“Oh, excuse me, Ranma, I just need to put this down.”

“That’s okay,” he said as he stepped out into the hall.   “I’ve finished changing.”

“Well, you should hurry off to school then.”

“Nah, I think I’ll stay home and do some more practice.   Ranma says: don’t worry about sending me to school any more.”

“Okay then,” Kasumi smiled.

“(Neat! I can really make her do anything. I wonder how far I can go.)”

(As far as you wish.   She will obey any command you give.)

“(Oh. Really),” Ranma snorted, “(Let’s try.)   Kasumi, Ranma says: take off your clothes and work around the house naked.   (Huh, I bet she wo…woo…woWow!   She’s really doing it!)”

(Of course.)

“Excuse me, Ranma,” the naked Kasumi interupted his mental conversation.   “I need to fold some more laundry.”

“S-sure,” he exclaimed and stepped away from the door he blocked.   “Uh, are you alrighd?”

“I’m fine, thank you, Ranma.   Though it is a little chilly for some reason.   Are you alright, yourself   It looks like your getting a nosebleed   Perhaps you should lie down?”

“I mighd jusd do dhad,” he agreed.

“(Weird,)” Ranma commented silently as he sat on the porch and listened to Kasumi potter around the house behind him.   “(So she has no idea that she’s really working around the house in the nude, Jeannie?)”

(Incorrect,) the system reported.   (She simply does not care about her current state of undress.   It now seems perfectly normal for her to work in the nude.)

“(Uhm.     I guess I better make her put some clothes on before someone notices.)“

(If you so wish.   Be advised that this system can ensure that nobody else notices.)

“You can do that?” he blurted.
