"Well, well, what do we have there," NID Agent Jason Madison said as he looked out of the cockpit on the Al'kesh and down to the surface of Liberty Station.

The piece of the surface he looked at had a big hole in it, looking like a meteoroid had impacted there. It was perfect to get into the station and take a few looks around. Maybe even take something with them back to Earth. Madison smiled as he stopped the Al'kesh over the hole, the 16 F-302 floating nearby, ready to do everything to defend the Al'kesh.

Quincy will be pleased, he thought, We just have to bring some new toys for R&D.

Quincy was the CEO of Genom Industries, at the moment just a small manufacturer of cars, but at the moment Qunincy used many of his money to fund the rouge elements of the NID, like Madison, to get new technologies after Dr. Stingray had left Genoms R&D section when his wife got pregnant and he got a better job offer from Kawasaki in their Robotics R&D. Only the fact that it would bring a bad light on Genom prevented Quincy to order Stingrays death.

Madison slowly walked into the back of the bomber, towards the Ring Transporter and the rest of the team, while the copilot held the Al'kesh over the hole. Madison only needed a few moments to get into his space suit, a cheap and approved Russian model. He went up to the rest of his team and nodded.

The Ring Transporter activated and deposited the team outside, next to the hole.

"Looks like we got artificial gravity there," someone said as they floated in free space and their search lights pointed into the hole, showing nice rows of strange looking objects.

Madison said nothing and hovered next to the hole, slowly getting through it and feeling the return of gravity as he was through.

"The transition is smooth, so no problem with it."

The others of the team nodded and followed.

"I don't see a cockpit," someone said.

"Maybe some sort of drone?"

"Well, it certainly looks like a lifting body or maybe antigrav systems. There are no wings."

Madison looked a bit closer to the drones. The things were about 16 meter in length, had six meters height and maybe seven meters width. It sported maneuvering thrusters for space and six on board weapons and two opening like the ones where the F-22 stored their onboard missiles. A few letters showed the name of the thing, 'QF-3000 Ghost'. He looked back at the team.

"Okay, people. lets get one of these babies to the Al'kesh."

Liberty City, Liberty Station

Mayor Marcus Thornton looked out of the large window of his office and down towards Liberty City. He breathed in and sighed. He had just gotten the last poll from the Liberty Intranet. It looked like most citizens of Liberty City didn't really care about what was happening to Liberty Station. So what if the whole station had switched universes? It just meant that they were the hell away from those god damned wars back home.

Liberty City had been founded in the wake of the Second Robotech War, when Liberty Station folded away from Earth and taken refugees with them. To distract them, the commander of the station at that time had ordered to build a city, in good old Macross City tradition.

And they had build the city, large enough to be the home of more than six million people and looking like a strange mix of New York, Sidney, Tokyo and several European cities. Around the city was cultured land and even a large beach, while several slips of the station had been converted into hydroponics, aqua cultures and farms for cattle, pigs, chickens and the like to make Liberty Station independent from foodstuff imports.

And Liberty City was a normal city, being the home of humans, most of them clones to repopulate the world, but now normal born kids and teens under them, had its problems. Crime being one of them. The Liberty City Police Department had been founded to be independent from the RDF military police and the city even got their own judges, judging according to old American laws, even if there was no death sentences, aside from that one traitor who had been spaced, but that's another story.

Thornton breathed in again. This universes Earth was less advanced than their old Earth, but it looked like their Earth would have developed like this if the Marcoss hadn't happened.

But one question remained. What would happen now?

He chuckled to himself. Maybe they should become an independent state and help this Earth? Maybe. He should request doing a poll on that after he had spoken to this visitors from this Earth.
