EVA-Heroes: Super fights, day of the dove, man and giant robot, and a bloody safety measure [Episode 121362]

"HEY!" Asuka said her temper coming back in full force. "What was that for?!"

"For ruining my home you twit!"

"Don't you call me a twit and what home? A bunch of cloud?"

"You bet a bunch of clouds!" Maya scolded, her slipper and jeans had fallen to the Earth below in the havoc reeked by Asuka, standing here in her low back swim suit, she truly did look the part of a human sized fey. Titana truly would be intrigued by her new adopted child.

Asuka didn't seem to accept that answer and proceed to give Maya kick in the gut that Asuka failed to remember would shatter the part fey's bones now with Ultra Lady's super strength. Thankfully the Fairy was anything if nimble and dodge the melee attack. Maya was quick to retaliate creating a gust that would have knocked over a tree but only sent Asuka back several yards in the air instead.

Misato just stared . . Maya . . . well, that at least confirmed her suspicions about why the tech girl had -really- called in sick.

"Dude! Look at Maya go!"

"Cool! Super fight!"

"Notcoolbequitthiscouldbeasdamagingasanangelattack!" Misato said only realizing in hind sight she hadn't slowed down her speech. At least the fight on the screen was keep everyone distracted. Three other people were grateful for this fact. Kanji saw this as his chance to 'stretch' though some of the areas he was restricted from with no one having a clue he had even been there.

Ritsuko glanced at a couple of computer windows she had brought up while Misato wasn't looking . . . this was not good at all. Things could spiral out of control much faster than they were now if this was accurate. Typing in several dozen lines of authorization code, and some back doors she had kept hidden even from Gendo, with not the slightest hint of regret, pressed the enter key.

Miles below NERV's bridge, inside a large vat of LCD fluid, countless dozen pale skinned, naked, blue haired, blood eyed girls, each a perfect copy of the next . . . feel apart.

++++++++++

Rei clutched her head and fell over on her side out of her desk and hitting her head on the neighboring desk on the way to the floor -she hardly noticed-. Her eyes bulged, dropping her novel, the students and the instructor all suddenly wondering about the poor girl's status, then she screamed.

++++++++++

At the mall, Rei calmly read the 'How to Draw Comic Book Heroes and Villains' she had purchased a short while ago for costume ideas as the Chinese dress, light blue, only a few shades darker than her hair, with gold trimmingshe decided that just looked too good on her to pass up was being fitted for her size. In a flash however, it hit her, gone, dead, not even a scream, no, not even dead, you needed to have a soul to be that, they were -non-existent-!! The sales lady who had been calmly waiting on her got no response from the shaking lass.

++++++++++

When Rei screamed, it had startled Shinji to the point where he could have jumped out of his shoes. Rei never screamed. She never smiled or wondered about her appearance either! Forgetting for the moment about the super brawl going on above their heads (never a smart thing) he kneeled down and shook his friend.

"Rei?"

The pale girl latched onto him in a flash. "Shinji! Dead! All! I experienced death through all of them!"

Shinji felt scared. "Your . . copies are dead? What happened? How?"

"Yes . . . no . . . " Rei was -crying- now! Tear down that face, Shinji found it hard to look at. "The replacements of myself . . . aware . . . then dead . . . why."

Shinji hugged his friends. "Rei . . . I don't know what you mean . . . but you're still here, and I'll make sure you stay here."

"Thank . . . you . . ." Whispered the First Child. Meanwhile, Lilith too was pacified. She shouldn't have had these emotions! It wasn't logical. This was also no dream. The experience of death, was far too real to be any dream. If what Rei had heard about dreams was true . . . A strange thought occurred to Rei, was she, human?

Having boarded a transcontinental flight to Texas, a japanese albino lad was both amused and frustrated. "How did this happen? I'm a divine messenger not an attack dog for some cabal." Lorenz Keele had all but tore Tabris out of his little 'cell' and given his so-called 'pawn' instructions, thankfully the wizard had been fool enough to leave a return address on his pie in the face.

Tabris had even less information on the one who had attempted to alter the angels. Of course Tabris and his brothers and sisters were already self aware, must of them of course just thought in ways that the human brain couldn't hope to process. So thankfully that hadn't changed much, but the fact someone -had- tried to affect the messengers, well, some things, very important people didn't like being screwed with (thus Second Impact).

His SEELE 'masters' of course had ordered him to kill the old mage on sight. He had other intentions thou. On the plus side, with all of this, he felt a lot less out of place. The store wasn't that hard to find, (or did it find him?).

"Welcome Kaoru." Said the old man behind the counter, the four legged wolf (human on his off hours) who the wizard had as a paid work hand inched away from the albino.

"Well you've certainly mixed things up, you know that right?"

"Of course, I know you hate the idea of Third Impact happening too, so I think you'd come here to thank me. . . You do thank me . . . you do thank me."

Tabris sweat dropped and pointed at himself. "Angel of Freewill remember?"

"Oh right . . forgot about that."

"You're rather calm."

"If you wanted me dead I'd have skipped the time zone by now."

"Heh, granted. But you never talked to someone unless you have business."

"How astute. Well, now that we got some super heroes, if totally green ones, I thought it was time for some super villain to be put into play."

"Forget it."

"You're already playing the bad guy for the sake of everyone else. Or do you want to die that much?"

" . . . . I believe . . . the -original- Superman comic books had the man of steel dealing with wife beaters, labor union smashers, bribe takers, etc, not super villains. I suggest you give it a try for a while . . . but I do have to say I like what you've done for Shinji, being in the role of the central hero, should do wonders for him. By now he's likely already feeling different."

"You could always play the role of the dark rival that eventually turns good."

"Thank you, but things are going to get hectic enough without me entering the picture, and that goes double for that buddy of yours."

"He's no buddy of mine my boy."

"I'm you senior by several million years."

"Granted, but I can promise you, he and I are not on the same side."

"I'm just worried his next move might not be so 'mostly harmless.' Reality shifts to accommodate your players for their new roles, and they shift to accommodate for reality, screw things up too much, and this timeline will just . . . . stop."

Gendo stood in front of Eva-01. Ritsuko's mother thankfully was in her own cage, behind several reinforced walls and wasn't going anywhere soon: the woman was madly jealous even in death and would seek Rei's death and that of Gendo's wife (even thou she too was dead).

As for the mother of the girl Asuka, she was 'passive' for now, having broken free of her bond but otherwise had made no other actions. Likely trying to figure what to do next.

But Gendo didn't give one damn about them ultimately, his only concern was right in front of him. He had rerouted the security cameras before leaving for the cage. If things went bad, security wouldn't be able to save him anyway. The massive purple Eva stared -down- at him in all manner of words. Gendo held his ground, it had been a while since she had given him that look.

"Yui." He said simply. Ritsuko said Yui could hear him. "I'm sorry, I've done all of this for you." The giant fist of the Eva came at him, stopping just an inch away from his face. Gendo didn't flinch. "I understand you're upset, but haven't we always been able to talk things out before? I know Shinji will want to speak with you again." The eva lowered it's mammoth jaws so they were on level with Gendo, ready to scoop him in and eat him. "But I don't think even he would want us fighting." That card always worked, and this time was no except, he knew this for the Eva did NOT eat him nor did it smash him flat like a bug. Gendo didn't press his luck and had a hasty retreat, before Yui changed her mind.

What were comic books without fan service? Likely better written, but all the same the lightning bolts for the Fairy on Asuka's school uniform, along with the swim suit Maya was wearing that wasn't meant to take such abuse as she was putting it through, was giving it to John Q. Public all the same right through their house window.

"You do realize Hikari is going to kill you if she finds out you ogling like that."

"How could she find out?"

"You got your character's intelligence stat too? She's a telepath now! You think it, she hears it!"

"Oh. Yea. Right."

"Okay, the machine should be done making you your outfit."

"I hope so. Going back to my house and to yours in a toga was not my idea of fun."

"It's alright, and have ya thought about what costume to have?" Kensuke asked, having put together already a large number of other super gadgets, too bad he'd need stuff from NERV or the military to make his War Mech armor. Maybe his near indestructible buddy could help in that respect.

"COSTUME?! I don't plan to stay this way! This isn't me!"

"Well I'm not complaining, and this doesn't seem evil to me."

"Where do you think Hikari is anyway?"

++++++++++

Asuka finally remembered that her character had possessed the 'energy blast' power as well and wasn't limited to melee fighting, and thus she and Maya were now blasting at each other, causing the gratuitous damage infamous in Tokyo III. Falling deeper into her roles. Ultra Lady and The Fairy were totally going at it and likely would continue until they had exhausted each other and Ultra Lady admitted begrudgingly she had been hardly hurt by the first lighting bolt and had over reacted, and The Fairy realized embraced she could rebuild her could lair with little or no effort now she had a better understanding of her abilities. Of course by then they would have caused as much damage as an angel attack. And both now prepared for a head on rush against the other and began their charge.

STOP THIS! BOTH OF YOU! Hikari, fantastically outside her school uniform, (she rivaled Rei in wearing the thing outside of class) and in normal clothing, mentally shouted into their heads as she kinetically flew up between her two fellow supers, the Silver Dove frown at both of them.

Still struggling with the sound of hearing everyone else's thoughts in her head, Hikari had made her way to the home stead of her fellow thirdary characters. She was just glade it wasn't a busy day out, she might have gone crazy from the white noise. That was when she saw Maya and Asuka fighting. Wondering if she could lift herself with her mind and finding she could, she had made haste to use herself as a road block between their grudge match.

++++++++++

"Wowza! That's Hikari?! What did she do swap heads with a goddess?"

++++++++++

Both Ultra Lady and The Fairy DID indeed stop fighting.

Ultra Lady blinked. "Silver Dove?"

"What the heck are you two fighting about?!" The psy-human demanded. A while later Hikari realized how big a misunderstand the entire thing was, yes, Asuka was to blame, but she hadn't done it on purpose, and Maya -had- over reacted.

Hikari sighed . . . "Just let me heal you both." Touching the two, all three still in the hair, their injuries healed fast enough, sadly this did nothing for her damaged attire.

++++++++++

"Three of them?!"

"Justgreatjustgreatjustgreat."

"At least we know where they are." The good doctor commented.
