The ring was very lost. It remembered being thrown in to the crack of doom. Now it was stranded in this strange world. The master was gone. Now it had been picked up by someone.

Its time for a new dark lord. The ring corrupts Ranma.
Forget the world domination. Its time to have some fun.
The ring got altered by the dimensional barrier. Now it has the personality of an anime character.
As above, but now the ring is a magical power up.
