The backhand it dealt her was sufficiently powerful that she slammed into a wall and was dazed from the impact.
When she'd recovered from that, she looked again but the thing hadn't changed. A vaguely female shape stretched thin to twice a normal human size, oversized hands and feet ending in claws, throwing black lightning at some cheerleaders.
Wait a minute?! That was AMI. Ranma's sister was fighting monsters?!
She settled into a ready stance and began considering this as an opponent. Greater than human strength, maybe on a level with her. Akane ran forward, seeing where the opponent would be and ready to attack with her full strength.
The yoma let the attack strike, the human fist doing no damage to it. Instead it simply grabbed this slower attacker and threw her at those two of its other opponents.
"Jupiter Lightning - AHK!"
"I'm Akane Tendo, sorry about this," groaned Akane from where she was sprawled over the "cheerleader."
"Sailor Jupiter," said the girl underneath her.
"Sailor Mars," said the girl underneath the girl under Akane.
"Moon Tiara Action!"
"Well, at least you managed to keep its attention off Sailor Moon long enough for her to attack," noted Sailor Mercury.
"Would everyone mind terribly getting off of me?" complained Sailor Mars.
Crawling off, Akane went over her performance. She knew she'd hit the creature hard enough that any number of the Hentai Horde would have been in the infirmary. It had felt as though she were hitting concrete or something harder even than that. She'd felt weakened in that moment of contact too.
