The problem was that she could see that she'd been ineffective against it. Her family's Art was one that she'd taken great pride in, but instead of being useful, it'd just gotten her into trouble while another girl used a glowing frisbee to stop the monster. That told her that she'd need to learn more before she tried to fight anything non-human again.
After all, she just couldn't leave this alone. There were monsters prowling the streets, and who knew where they might strike next. Heck, they might even show up at her school, or at her house. And she seriously doubted that Kasumi or Nabiki'd be able to fight them off if it came down to it. It was a martial artist's duty to protect the weak.
Besides, it'd get her away from the lunacy that was Kuno and the 'Hentai Horde', as well as giving her the chance to prove that she was a heroine and not just some prize to be one.
Yet, she could understand the fact that she would have to leave home to find some sort of way to fight these things. That Ranma boy had obviously faced at least one of them before, but hadn't found anything that could be useful in this sort of fight. She did have to admit that he'd been closer than she'd like about identifying just what sort of problems her own school had, as it wasn't quite prepared for fighting monsters that took hits and made attackers feel weaker.
So, she knew that she'd have to go on a training journey of her own. If nothing else, she'd get stronger simply by finding new challenges. But if she could find some sort of style that would allow her to be able to fight off these things, she'd be jumping on it as soon as she could.
Thinking about it only made it make more sense, so she decided to do it, while:
