Albus looked down at the place where the boy-turned-girl used to be and saw...
Huh?
Thirty minutes and an examination later showed the Dursleys, a still asleep and now snoring Vernon included, and an exausted wizard sitting in the living room. Petunia just stared at the little boy and girl sitting on the floor playing with each other (not that way you sickos!).
"It seems that whatever magic was used to transform Harry was simply to powerful to dispell." started Dumbledore. "Unfortunately, the spell that _I_ used was also powerful."
Petunia continued to stare and ol' Vern snored on, so he continued.
"As such, both spells attempted to continue their functions at the same time. The result was that they-" he tried to think of a way to explain it "- 'bargained' with each other. That is why we have a girl version of Harry, which was, of course, the original spell's purpose to create. And a restored to man-er, boyhood Harry, which was my spells purpose."
Petunia finally snapped out of her shock. "And what are we suppose to do? I could barely convince Vernon to keep Harriet!"
"Oh, I'm sure that with THIS unique a situation I can convince the Ministry of Magic to supply a sort of trust fund-"
Dumbledore was interrupted as Vernon Dursley disobeyed several laws of magic by awakening.
"Did some one mention money?"
He looked at the floor and saw Harry and Harriet.
"Oh. I'm still dreaming. Never mind then."
*THUD!*
Staring at the man that currently had his feet on the couch and head on the floor, Dumbledore wondered why he felt as though the gods were laughing at him.
Little did he know how right he was.
