Ranma-chan watched the crowd of students dispersing, and Kunou's back disappearing from view. "Kunou isn't after me?" she murmured in realization. Given her total disgust at male attention, she should by all rights be jumping for joy, singing from the rooftops that Kunou was no longer after her.
But...
"What? Am I not good enough for that stupid kendoist?" murmured Ranma darkly. "How can he not like the new, beautiful me? Does he only like short girls? Is that it?" Ranma plodded through the door, murmuring these dark thoughts aloud.
However, the melancholy was giving way to confidence and anger. "No matter. Kunou, for this insult against me, I shall make you pay! I shall have my revenge! And when I'm done, you shall grovel at my feet and worship me again like the unworthy worm you are! OOOOOH-HOHOHOHOHOOOOO!!!" Ranma erupted in an upper-crust high-and-mighty rich bitch kind of way.
All over the school, boys and men cringed at the pealing laughter. But none more so that Kunou himself, who felt as if someone was doing the Charleston on his grave, then peeing on it.
