Ukyou started as she was jolted from the intense concentration on solving a difficult English composition she had foolishly left to the due-date to work out. The ring came from her cell phone, which she had found invaluable in her business as an Okonomiyaki proprietor as it allowed her to keep in contact with Konatsu in case there were problems. (And there were. Frequently.) Sighing, she pulled it out and answered it with no small amount of anxiety, "Yeah?"
Upon hearing the voice at the other end, she was immediately relieved. "*Whew!* It's only you, Nabiki. I was worried it was Konatsu with another problem at the restaurant again..." Then thee Okonomiyaki chef realized why Nabiki would be calling. "This is not a social call, is it?" She heard the acknowledgment. "I thought not. What's the poop?"
Ukyou frowned a bit. "Yes, I accept your price." Her eyes popped open wide. "A NEW FIANCÉE?!!"
"Does she mean Ranma has the new fiancée?"
"Don't tell me he has yet another one! Dangit, Ranma! Leave some for us!"
"Man, that girl just don't have any luck, do she?"
"What else is new?"
"Hah! I was right! Pay up!"
"Nooo, Ranma-kun! Say it ain't so! Say it ain't so!"
Ukyou ignored the hububalloo caused by her outburst. "Give me everything, Nabiki. ... Uh huh. ... Uh huh. ... Gotcha. ... Okay. ... ... Nabiki, do you have a toothbrush stuck in your mouth?"
