Ranma frowned, and glanced about, trying to identify the one who had made the noise. It only took her a minute to spot the boy (who was, some part of her mind noted with inexplicable relief, fully clothed), starting to wake up.
Shaking her head, she burst into action, quickly dressing Natsume, Natsume, Kurumi, and, why not Usagi, too? Once that was done, Ranma relaxed slightly, wishing she'd had more time to try and figure out which Natsume was real.
But, in the process of dressing the girls, everyone was begining to wake up, and it wasn't long before everyone was at least sitting up. "What happened?" Usagi asked sleepily, rubbing at her eyes.
"I dunno, but I get the idea it's not important," Ranma said, glancing over at the two blushing Natsume, neither of which were trying to kill one-another at the moment. Well, that helped.
Kurumi seemed happy to see more of her sisters doing well, and hugged Natsume and Natsume happily. "Yay! More big sisters!"
"Aaanyway," Ranma said, eyeing the boy. "So, you're after ... him, are you?"
"Yes," the boy said, leaping to his feet, and looking around the room, as though Genma could pop out of a corner at any moment. "I am!" Realizing that there was no immediate threat, he rubbed at his head. "That's funny. I could have sworn something horrible happened. But it's like my memory was erased, or something, and there's a little voice telling me I'm better off not knowing it."
"You are," Ranma returned flatly.
"Okay, then," the boy said slowly. "So, do you all shop at the same place as me? 'cause those are some nice outfits. I've got a few just like them."
"...yeah, I get my stuff from a bargain bin," Ranma drawled. "Now, on to more important subjects. You noticed the way everyone's been flipping out and acting all crazy lately?"
"Yeah," the boy said, nodding slowly. "Now that you mention it. What does this have to do with the one they call ... the Lone Panda?"
"The what?" Ranma asked, blinking. When there was no immediate answer, she shook her head. "Nevermind. The point is--"
