Ryu twisted awkwardly on the first step of his attack and faltered, slamming into the ground and looking up at Pandar in amazement. "You ... can SAY the word 'decent'?!" he demanded.
"It hurt a little," Pandar said, shrugging. "Anyway, I couldn't let you start a fight here, not like this!"
"Why not?" Ranma asked, hefting a length of lead pipe she'd found on the floor somewhere.
"Because I didn't have reinforcements!" he explained, sweeping one arm before him.
Everyone looked around.
"You still don't have any backup," Ryu said, climbing to his feet again.
"They're just undressing," Pandar assured the boy, which only made him shudder.
"Okay, plan B," Ranma reasoned. "Jump on him and beat him down before his reinforcements arrive."
"Wait!" Usagi protested. "That's not fair! He's a living being, and you need to take his rights into account, first!"
"Fine," Ranma snapped. "All in favor of pulping ... Pandor ... here?"
"Aye," said everyone in the room. Ranma blinked, and looked at Usagi oddly.
"Well, I needed to give him a chance," Usagi defended herself.
"Yeah, okay, but why did the old man encourage us to beat him?" Ryu asked.
"Mob mentality," Pandar explained delicately, coughing slightly. "Anyway, now, my grand clone army will arrive shortly, and--"
"GET HIM!"
