Which left Asuka and Rei sparring in the backyard, utilizing the Anything Goes style.
The differences were obvious in the two.
Rei was slow, methodical, and calm. Asuka was passionate, quick, and haphazard. Rei would clean a room, but it would take her hours to do it. Asuka would clean a room in a few minutes, and it looked nearly as bad as when she had started. Rei's voice was quiet and soft, without measurable accent. Asuka had a thick and indefinable accent, sprinkled with mangled German words and phrases for whatever reason.
There were similarities too. Both had the same uniform, more or less. Both were, as far as Froderick's examination was concerned, completely normal human females of about fourteen or fifteen years age. Both regarded Ranma as their Master and would do anything he said. Both had odd chi-based abilities. Rei's Soul Of Ice gave her the ability to use Ice Slap, a cold chi attack that drained heat from her target. Asuka could use a technique Ranma named "Burn Knuckle" that seemed potentially very useful.
Froderick named the variant spell "Ranma's Homunculus" and noted that it would likely become VERY popular with older unmarried wizards. Particularly male ones. IF Ranma could somehow perfect the spell, that is.
Ranma wasn't sure he WANTED to perfect the spell. Oh sure, it was cool to have a spell with your name on it, but he couldn't shake the feeling that at some point one of his fiancees would show up and then all heck would break loose.
On the other hand, he now had two sparring partners who were pretty damn good.
Things were improving though when the fourth day came around. Rei was beginning to loosen up some. Asuka was beginning to relax. The bad thing was:
