Everyone was sympathetic to Usagi's plight; Rei, in a moment that surprised all present, offered to house her if necessary. Everyone also heard her mutter about "flatchested fox-girls that have bottomless pits," but ignored that.
Minako muttered that she had found out a special ability that the Moon Cats had, then clammed up tight. No one could get her to continue, but her blush, which made her cheek-fur glow, did more than hint that there was a lot more to tell. Everyone determined that it would be worthwhile in finding it out.
Hotaru was bouncing in place, cheering about how great it was living with such a marvelous cook. Makoto hid her face at that.
Ami, in what was becoming her new norm, stated that her parents were cool with anything she did, "as long as it doesn't leave any permanent marks." At that, she was suddenly left alone on one side of the room.
Just as the meeting was winding down, there was a knocking at the front door of the residence. THe girls waited for a few moments, as the quiet talking in the hall gave way to footsteps approaching the room.
The elder Hino knocked at the closed door. "Rei," he called out, "There's a pair of girls to see you." The old man walked away, and everone could her him say quietly, "and they're really cute, too."
The kitsune shrine maiden shook her head gently. "Gramps no hentai," she chuckled, as she opened the door. There stood what could be described as 'a disturbing sight."
She appeared to be about fourteen or so, with bublegum-pink fur and wings, a cat's muzzle and long floppy ears. The visitor gave a wide grin, and in a shockingly familiar voice, called out, "Hi everyone! It's me, Chibi-Usa!"
The reactions varied. Minako pulled out a rosary and began to pray at the top of her voice. Makoto began to mutter about how she should've taken the scent glands, after all. Ami made the comment, "She's still too young," which made the other press together even more.
Usagi just sat there blinking in shock. Hotaru increased her bouncing and Setsuna slapped her forhead.
"Did you come alone?" the emerald-haired woman asked the ceiling.
The person still standing in the shadows of the hallway stepped forward. "No, Auntie Setsuna," the second girl replied as she entered the light, "Would you expect the Princess to leave her Advisor behind?"
All motion stopped as the second girl's features became visible. She was virtually identical to Chibi-Usa, with the exception of having grey fur and blue eyes. She giggled. "Hi, I'm Diana. It's nice to finally get to see you all eye to eye."
The paralysis was broken, as with a gasp, Luna transformed form a small, helpless cat, into an adult human with a cat's tail end ears, then fainted dead away.
