Ranma Saotome walked along canal towards the Tendo home annoyed. He had asked Hinako if she dyed her hair and she bit his head off.
“It was just a damn question, geesh.” She immediately went into a speech about not asking a woman her age, weight, and all that other junk. Then she said she would have to punish him for what he did.
“If she wanted a bedtime story all she had ta do was ask.” Her “punishment” was to act the part of an unruly child and make him try and put her to bed. Since her adult knowledge was able to shine through sometimes, the task wasn’t very easy. He was able to get her to bed though, and she fell asleep as he read to her Alice in Wonderland.
There was a problem though; there was someone out there that knew about his paintings. That wouldn’t have been so bad, since he made the art teacher swear not to tell anyone and to make sure anyone who saw them didn’t speak of it. This woman knew what he looked like now. She knew what district he lived in. If she told anyone, there was no telling what would happen, but the idea of crazed art fans appear at the Tendo home didn’t sit well with him. He had to talk to her; he had to keep her from talking.
“Fei Fong Wong.”
Ranma froze. There was no one on the street besides him, yet he heard that woman’s voice calling him.
“Oh, its Ranma Saotome now, isn’t it?”
There she was again! The voice came from his left, a little ahead and above him. There, on the roof of someone’s house stood the same woman from before. She was still in a woman’s business suit and matching heels.
“Hey lady, we gotta talk,” he yelled up at her.
“Only if you catch me,” was her response, before leaping over two houses forcing Ranma to try and keep up with her.
Ranma was, surprisingly, immediately serious about dealing with this woman. She knew things she shouldn’t of and she was damn tricky. Trying to catch her was a difficult task, she was fast and it was almost like she knew how he would act. Whenever he tried to surprise her, like pulling out extra speed or a super long jump, she had already moved on, almost like she knew of his real abilities.
The long chase ended in some park he didn’t immediately recognize. The woman’s clothes were still immaculate even after the long chase they had just been through. Even he knew that after such movement clothes tended to have wrinkles and was not completely smooth and straight like this woman’s.
“Who are you, really? And what do you want,” Ranma asked part suspiciously and part exasperatedly.
“A fight, and afterwards you’ll have all the answers I can give you.”
