But at the same time, he knew that he needed to have practice before he fought. It didn't have to be much, but he did need to have the control to use at least a few spells. After all, it simply woudn't do if he tried to use an incantation, only to have it fizzle, and allow an opponent to blindside him. That might be okay in the beginning, but he didn't want to leave anything to chance. Once he started, he wanted the least amount of failure that he could manage.
So that meant that he had to go and train. He'd have to head someplace secluded, where he could practice in private. Perhaps a mountain range would do, or he could head out to some isolated and deserted island. It did not matter, so long as in the end, he had a beginning set of spells to base his style off of.
