He'd mastered enough White Magic to accomplish his own healing. Now it was necessary for him to gain greater familiarity with the other two schools: Shamanistic and Black.
One had an affinity for certain types of magic, and Ranma thought that White wasn't it. According to his source, elements were the most common affinities.
He was hoping he had something useful.
Hotaru listened to the message again, wondering what was going on with her sempai.
Going to the mountains for his health? Did that mean he was sick?
The young girl found the spare key and let herself into his apartment/lab. It had been a convenient thing, because she could bring over groceries when she had the time. A measure of trust between them.
In this case though, the young girl began checking around to find signs of where her sempai had gone. Mount Terror was circled on a map, so that seemed likely.
