Being perpetually on the threshold of womanhood was not what she desired at this point. She spent much of her time watching the sixteen year old Ranma and dreaming of what might be, and in those dreams she was not in the role of a child.
Nodoka tapped into the display, and looked over the persocom's shoulder at the new framework Hotaru had sketched out. It was still Hotaru, but taller with longer hair and a frame that was definitely designed to look more adult.
Hotaru was in the process of playing around with it, adding cat ears and a tail, then replacing those with bunny versions, dressing the image up in maid's costume, then applying the "Morrigan" enhancements from the Aenslad series of adult persocoms, and so on.
When she reached a combination she liked, a smile and blush played on her features, picturing herself wearing such a form.
The Hotaru series was designed as a companion for children, babysitter, and general first aid. She could play games and interact with children as a child herself. Clearly, this particular unit yearned for something other than baby-sitting Ranma.
It wasn't as if existing designs weren't available. Millenium Biomech had "adult" anatomically correct units amongst its many designs.
Of more concern to Nodoka was the human part of this equation. Her son had not noticed the attention. He'd grown up with Hotaru, who had joined the others surrounding her son when he had turned fourteen himself. The human maid was a new hire.
