Following Sanverse, the person to her left drew back his hood, revealing a man with a strange, center-parting hairstyle. "I am Lagan, one vice-president to the Magic Guild. Lina and that... insane laughing companion of hers," Diol shuddered at that mention, "destroyed an priceless magical artifact that I had recovered, one of the last works of Shazal Rugandy, even! Because of that, I lost everything I had worked so hard for in my life! I desire Vengeance!"
"Vengeance!" came the unified cry, again.
All eyes turned to the last, shrouded party, who seemed to shrink back from the sudden attention. Rather timidly, she removed her hood, revealing a purple-haired priestess. "Um... I'm... Sylphiel Nels Lahda... um..." her courage seemed to fail her at that point.
"Speak up, would you?!" Martina roared at the priestess.
"Well... you see... Lina..." Sylphiel took a deep breath, then...
"THAT RED-EYED DEMON STOLE GOURRY-DEAR FROM ME!" Sylphiel wailed, startling everyone. "I'LL NEVER WIN GOURRY-DEAR'S HEART WHILE SHE LIVES! I WANT HER DEAD! DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!!"
The others were nearly blown back from the sudden outburst, as Sylphiel gripped the table, panting. Then, Lagan nodded. "Hear, hear! A fine sentiment."
"Oh, yes!"
"That's right. We'll get her!"
"The Dragon-Spooker's days are numbered!"
Then, they all roared again, "DEATH, TO LINA INVERSE!"
The night and storm outside was then treated to the sound of five people, not quite right in the head, laughing maniacally.
