She sighed, she hated moments like this but she knew that she could take them down using her other methods, the invincible gun fighting techniques of Vash the Stampede, as taught to Rusyuna by her father's student, Tenshi-sama herself.
"Oh, great," Ya-chan muttered, "Rusyuna, you can't afford to..."
He sighed as she'd already leapt into action. "Awe, great…"
The first of the goons smiled as he looked down at the three shrieking young women.
"To it’s a cart with only helpless young women…"
"Heh, yeah," the second replied, "There is no way you can escape from us, the Tenmatou!" "Tenmatou?" one of the girls whimpered in terror.
The first raider grinned widened. "So, ya wanna take their clothes off now? If we don't have out fun now, the boss'll stick us with sloppy seconds."
"Hahaha!" The second laughed, "I'll strip 'em!"
He paused mid sentence as a form leapt from the shadows, flying toward him like a lightning bolt. He was stunned like a deer in headlights as Rusyuna's knee connected with his nose, breaking it and putting the pervert out like a light.
"You didn't see my face, did you?" Rusyuna rhetorically questioned.
Had he been awake, the man would have likely said no. All he saw was her panties, the very thing which had stunned him enough that he make no effort of dodging.
"Who are you!" Exclaimed goon two as he pointed his gun at her.
Almost effortlessly, Rusyuna shot it out of his hands without even turning around.
"Shit!" the man cried out as he looked at her smoking barrel and his now wrecked gun.
Deciding that digression was the better part of valor, and that there was a wide line between an unarmed group of girls and a female Ranger, he decided to run away crying for help.
"Are you alright? Are you unharmed?" Rusyuna asked the girls.
One of them nodded, but then screeched slightly.
Rusyuna slowly turned around. Behind her was another five men. Wonderful. These kinds of people always did tend to travel in packs…
"You there, who are you!" one of them exclaimed.
"You've got guts to stand up to the Tenmatou!"
"I'm glad," Rusyuna muttered to herself, "You don't know my face."
"Hey, what was that?" one of them muttered.
"Just kill the bitch!" another roared.
As one they opened fire. Rusyuna found little reason to dodge as they couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, and returned fire. She had five shots left in her gun, and five enemies. One bullet struck each of their weapons, disabling it or shooting it out of their hands.
"Shit!" one of them cried, "We'll remember this!"
Rusyuna could not help but suppress a feeling of grim satisfaction of giving those raiders the boot. While she tried to follow the philosophy of Love and Peace and use the Ultimate Battle Strategy, she had a personal thing against raiders.
She sighed and took a deep breath. Best not to dwell in the past. There would be time for that when she found Vash the Stampede.
"I'm all sweaty again," she though to herself.
"Excuse me…" one of the girls began, "We don't know how to thank you, but"
They all smiled and bowed to her in the way particular to the Japanese influenced Tento region. "Arigato Gozaimasta!"
Rusyuna smiled. While the language of the area was an unusual mix of English and Japanese, it was rare to hear pure Japanese. Usually it was used by those who actually could speak it in very polite conversation.
She disarmingly raised her hands, feeling no need for so much gratitude. "Oh, no…" she replied, "People should just help each other out in the rough times!"
She paused for a moment and added, "Though, would you know where to find a bath?"
The girls shared a giggle. "If you want a bath, please come with us to our in!"
"An inn?"
"Yes. We won't charge, so please!" the girl exclaimed.
"Does that mean the food is also free?" Yajiro interjected.
"Ya-chan!" Rusyuna scolded, ever so slightly.
"I say we take them up on their offer," the swordsman replied.
"But…"
The head girl smiled widely, with a faint blush on her face. "We take great pride in out baths!"
"Well then," Rusyuna replied with a chuckle, "I guess I can't say no!"
