"I'm sure that they would. An inn without a bath wouldn't be an inn, would it?" Yajiro replied.
"That's right. And I can't wait to get a nice relaxing soak in. You know, it's rather nice to be able to do that."
"I know. But I'm more looking forward to the relative privacy."
"Oh?"
He gave her a slight shrug. "I do like travelling with you, but I'd like to enjoy a nice night indoors, where I can sleep alone without having to worry about bandits, wild animals or the weather bothering me."
"You're right about that. And an inn is a nice place where you can meet all sorts of people!"
"You'll meet plenty of nice folks at our inn," said one of the girls. "We all try to be as friendly as we can be."
"How nice! Is it the sort of place where someone can take their armor off?"
"That's part of the reason it was created. We wanted a place of utter peace and pleasure."
"Oh?" the blonde gunwoman responded.
"Uh-huh," said another of the girls with a flourish as they made a turn, "Look and see the inn that we are so proud of!"
Both Yajiro and Rushuna looked at what they were being shown. It was a really nice place, with solid white walls surrounding what had to be one of the few places of greenery around. The main building was huge, and in an ornate style that made it look less imposing and more magnificent. Everything about it made for a look of wonderful enjoyment.
However, it also became clear that this place was not of the normal sort. Most places would have a small staff that tried to be unobtrusive. In this case, attractive women of all sorts were all around, making their presence quite known. Some walked around and worked, while others stood and seemed to be waiting for something, but there was clearly a pretty girl for any taste. Looking around, it quickly became clear that there was a definite intent behind the 'inn'.
"This is a 'red light district'!" Yajiro blurted out.
"Of course, silly!" one of the rescued girls replied, "How better to make our customers relax?"
One of her companions nodded. "We made this place so that only pleasure would be known."
"With no fighting behind our walls, and plenty of enjoyment for all, we have made an oasis in the middle of war," the third commented.
"That's wonderful!" Rushuna chirped. "What a wonderful way to strip arms from any man who comes in. A warrior would have to like a smile here!"
"That's the idea."
"It's a good one, isn't it, Yat-chan? You've probably been in plenty of these places, so you should know. Right?"
"Wha... Yeah! Of course. I've been in plenty of places like this," the swordsman answered overly loud, not wanting to admit that he'd never been in such a place before.
The girls looked at his expression and giggled a little while:
